Today we're going to be taking a look at the best trailer hitch options for your 2016 Chevrolet Express van. On top we've got our Class 5 CURT followed by our Draw-Tite Class 5 Draw-Tite. Down below that we have our Class 4 CURT. Installed on our Express van we have our etrailer.com Class 4 hitch.As far as weight ratings are concerned, our Class 5 CURT is going to take the cake, having the highest tongue and towing capacities. Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Express van, we're going to be installing etrailer.com's class IV two inch trailer hitch receiver. Now, this is what our hitch is going to look like when it's installed. You are going to be able to see the cross tube and the receiver, but it's tucked back nicely under the bumper, so it doesn't really detract too much from the looks. It features a class IV, two inch by two inch receiver, so it's going to be great for all of your towing needs, whether you're using it for accessories like bike racks or cargo carriers, or for hauling larger trailers. Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Chevrolet Express Van- Video
Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Express Van, we're gonna be taking a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Class V Custom-Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number DT45507. So here's what our hitch looks like fully installed. It's gonna sit right below our bumper, but we are gonna see the cross tube. Now, it is a Class V hitch, so we're gonna have that 2-1/2" by 2-1/2" receiver tube opening. Now, it does have that nice reinforced collar on our receiver tube, giving you that nice, clean, finished look. Now, our safety chain loops are gonna be a plate style. It's gonna have a plate welded onto the bottom of our receiver tube, and as you can see, there's plenty of room to get most sized hooks on or off without having to worry about interfering with anything. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Chevrolet Express Van - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Express Van, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Class III Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, Part Number 41521. Here's what our hitch looks like fully installed. It's going to sit right below our bumper, and we are going to see the cross-tube as well as the receiver tube sticking out. Now this is a Class III hitch so we're going to have the 2" x 2" receiver tube opening, and it does have a nice reinforced collar, giving it that clean, finished look. Now as far as our safety chain loops go, it's going to be a plate-style. It's going to have a plate welded onto the bottom of our cross-tube here, and as you can see, we're not going to have any worries about getting most sized hooks on or off, and we're not going to have to worry about it interfering with anything. Now our hitch is going to use a standard 5/8" pin and clip, and that's going to be the furthest forward hole. Now it's not included, but you can pick one up on our website using part number PC3. Now this rearward hole here, that's for the J-Pin stabilization device, and that's going to be great for any accessories that don't have a built-in anti-rattle. Another nice feature of our hitch, is they actually have a built-in plate, so that we can mount our four or seven pole trailer wiring, so whenever we're ready to tow, it's here ready for us. Our hitch is going to feature a 600 lbs tongue weight, that's going to be the amount pushing down, it's also going to have a 6,000 lbs gross trailer weight, that's the amount that it can pull. more

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Express, we're going to take a look at, and also show you, how to install the Curt Extra-Duty Custom-Fit Class V Trailer Hitch Receiver. This offers the 2" x 2" opening. Its part number is C15320. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. As you can see, the Curt Extra-Duty is going to have a really nice hammered or a mat finish to it. Really strong steel construction. We're got really good welds all the way around. more

Today, on our 2016 Chevrolet Express, we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Curt Custom Fit Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver. Part number is 13040. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. You can see that square tube is going to come across. In the middle, we've got our 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening. It's finished off pretty nicely with that flush reinforcement collar around the end. Plate style safety chain connection points are going to come around, offer us a good open area there to connect those safety chains. more

It's part number is 14090. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. You'll see we've got the square tube that's going to come all the way across the rear. Here in the middle, our 2" x 2" receiver tube opening. We've got a flush reinforcement collar around the end of it there as you can see, gives it a nice clean look. more
