Today we are working on a 2002 Chevy Express van. We will be installing a Curt hitch, part number 13040. Here are a couple of hitch measurements that will help you with ing accessories for your new hitch, such as a bike rack, a cargo carrier or a draw bar. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most point of the bumper is 3 inches. And from the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 13-1/2 inches. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2002 Chevrolet Express- Video
Today on this 2002 Chevrolet Express, we are going to install part number 14090 from Curt. Shown here, this is how it looks when we are all finished. Alright, let us give you a couple of measurements for you. Now, from the top of the receiver opening down to the ground is going to be 16 inches. And then from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outside edge of the bumper is going to be 5 inches. Now we will go ahead and show you how it is installed. 0:25 more
