Speaker 1: Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Equinox we'll be having a look at our best trailer hitch options. On the top we have the Draw-Tite Class 3. In the middle we have our CURT Class 3. On the bottom we have our etrailer.com Class 3. First we'll give you a brief summary. As far as weight capacity goes, we found that the Draw-Tite hitch here was the winner because it does have higher weight capacities than the other two hitches. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2009 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
Today on this 2009 Chevrolet Equinox we are going to be installing Curt hitch, part number 13591. We are underneath the vehicle, we a re going to point out the mounting holes for the trailer hitch. Here at the center of the vehicle we have two existing weld nuts that we are going to be using as our center most attaching points for the trailer hitch. If you look here at the outboard side of the frame on the drivers and passenger sides, you can see we have two existing weld nuts here towards the bumper side that are right on top of each other. I do want to note that here on the Equinox, we are going to need to remove the fascia door that is here at the bottom of the fascia. :30 more
