Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2014 Dodge Journey- Video
Today on our 2014 Dodge Journey, well be test fitting the Thule Crossroad Roof Rack System using part numbers THLB50 and TH450. With our roof rack assembled according to the instructions, well begin our test fit by placing our front bar directly onto the front part of our roof. To ensure that we have the bar in the correct location, we need to find a fixed point on our side rails to use as a guideline, so we can line up our feet. On this particular model of vehicle, the side rail has dash marks on it, so Ill line up our foot pack with the dash mark on each side of our vehicle. Here on the passenger side, well bring the strap around the bar, fitting the back into the foot of the carrier. Then, we can use the included tool to tighten the Allen bolt to secure our strap around our side rail. Once we have that tight, we can take our tool, slide it back into the foot pack, move to the drivers side and repeat that process. Now well grab our rear bar and place it onto the rear part of our roof. more

Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack Installation - 2014 Dodge Journey- Video
Today on our 2014 Dodge Journey we'll be test fitting the Thule Aeroblade Edge roof rack system using part numbers TH7503 and ThH502. To begin our test fit, we'll grab our front bar which is the TH7503, and place it onto the front part of our side rails. To make sure that our feet are going to be in line with each other, we need to find a fixed point on each side rail. On these specific side rails there is hash marks that run up and down the side rails. We'll pick a hash mark and then make sure we pick the same hash mark on the other side so our feet are in line. Once we have it in place, we can remove the black plastic cover and install our strap. Now on each end of the strap you'll notice that one end has four slots and the other end has two slots for the mounting points. The end with the four slots is the end that will go in the foot pack around the underside of our load bar. The four holes are to accommodate the different size of side rails that we may have. more

With our roof rack assembled according to the instructions, we'll begin our test fit by placing the front bar onto the side rails of our Journey. Now we'll want to make sure that our feet are in line with each other. In order to do this, we'llfind a fixed point on theside rails andmeasure back to the closest edgeon our foot pack. We'll do this measurement for both sides to ensure that our feet are right acrossfromeach other. Now we'll want to check to make sure that we have even bar overhang on each side.Once we have that figured out,we can then remove the tool from the foot pack, bring our strap around the bar, andfit it back into the foot.We can use theAllen tool to tighten the Allen bolt which will tighter our strap around our bar.Once we have it tight, we can slide the tool back into the foot pack and move tothe other side and repeat the same process. more

We'll grab our front bar, which is the TH7503and place it onto the front part of our siderails. To make sure that our feet are going to be in line with each other, we need to find a fixed point on each side rail. With our roof rack assembled according to the instructions, we'll begin our test fit by placing the front bar onto the front part of our roof. We'll want to make sure that we have even bar overhang on each side of our vehicle. Then we'll find a fixed point on our side rail to measure back to the closest point on our foot pack. We'll do this measurement for both sides to ensure that our feet are in line with each other. Once we have that in place, we can then remove the included tool from the foot pack, bring our strap around the bar, fit it back into the foot pack, and tighten the Allen bolt with the included tool. more
