Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2017 Toyota Highlander, we're gonna be checking out the Kuat NV 2.0 platform-style, bike rack. So first impressions of the rack on the back of a Highlander, I think it looks really awesome. And if you we're to ask me, you know, would I put this rack on the back of my Toyota Absolutely, I would not hesitate. Kuat makes really good racks are very high quality. They look great, and one of the best parts is, they're really easy to use. more

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2017 Toyota Highlander- Video
Rob: Hey, everybody. Rob here at etrailer.com, and today we're to be taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro hanging style bike rack on our 2017 Toyota Highlander. Our Hitching Post Pro allows us to take up to four bikes with us, if we want to hit the trail with some family or some friends, maybe just taking a day trip to the park. But a hitch mounted bike rack is going to be one of the easiest ways, I think, to carry up to four bikes with you. It definitely beats cramming your bikes into the back hatch of your Highlander, and for me personally, it definitely beats a roof rack because I'm a little bit on the shorter side and I don't want to have to lift my bike up over my head to get it onto the bike rack on a roof. So a hitch mounted bike rack just makes it a lot easier to use.Now it is a hanging style bike rack, so we're going to have three points of contact. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Toyota Highlander- Video
Hey everyone, today we've got a 2017 Toyota Highlander, and we're going to do a test with the Thule Camber two-bike hanging style rack. Most hanging style racks can allow you to carry two bikes to and from your destination.It's going to grip your bike at three different points. We're going to have two straps on the top tube right here, securing it into the cradles. We're also going to have a anti-sway cradle with the strap through it, securing at the seat post tube. That anti-sway cradle, once you get it tightened down like that, it's really going to take away a lot of the unnecessary movement from your bike, even when you're traveling at high speeds. Just helps prevent a lot of bike-to-bike contact and bike-to-vehicle contact.Now, this bike rack is going to be a little more base model. more

Now this hanging style rack is going to allow you to carry up to four bikes to and from your destination. It being able to carry four bikes is going to be great if you have a couple of kids, maybe you want to take the family out for a bike ride. Or even if you got some friends you want to be able all get in one vehicle and get your bikes on one rack.Now the bikes themselves are going to be held in at three different points. We're going to have two straps on the top two securing them onto the cradles right there. more

Hey, everyone, today we have a 2017 Toyota Highlander. We're going to do a test with the Hollywood Racks Destination 4 Bike Platform Rack. This rack is going to allow you to transport up to four bikes too and from your destination. The platform rack has a unique way of holding your bike. It doesn't have any type of frame hook to come down on top of your frame. It actually grips it using two straps on the wheels. more

Today we're going to take a look at this Hollywood Rack's sport rider SE two electric bike rack on the 2017 Toyota Highlander.Now, this electric bike rack is specifically designed to be reinforced and handle the weight and the size of your electric bikes. It's going to be able to hold up to two e-bikes, weighing up to 80 pounds each. That's a weight capacity of 160 pounds.Keep in mind that you don't want to go over that 80 pound capacity on a single bike, because it's going to be 80 pounds on the first one, 80 pounds on the second one. Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Toyota Highlander we're gonna be test-fitting the Yakima single speed one bike platform rack for inch and a quarter and two inch hitches, part number YO2481. This is a great bike rack for you just wanting to hit the trail one afternoon and come right back. This works with multiple vehicles because it works with inch and a quarter and two inch hitches, so if you have either two vehicles or a class two on this, it'll work with that as well. It's a very basic bike rack. It doesn't tilt away or have any special real big features to it. It does have the patented Yakima bottle opener here on the end, as do most of the racks, and it's gonna grip your bike in two points. more

Saris Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Toyota Highlander- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Toyota Highlander, we're going to be test fitting the Saris Glide EX 4 Bike Rack for 1-1/4" and 2" hitches, part number a SA774.We already have a bike installed on our rack here, and let's take a closer look, and one of the key features about this bike rack and what makes it unique is its ability to go away from the rear of the vehicle with all four bikes still attached to gain rear hatch access. This is pretty rare when it comes to a hanging style bike rack because, most of the time, you'd have to get either a swing out to keep all four bikes on while you're getting into your rear hatch, but this makes it super easy.You come to the inside here to this trigger, push it, and push out. Try not to get your microphone caught on it. And now we have full rear hatch access to get what we need, and there's going to be plenty of space on either side to do so, if your hatch opens up all the way. And hopefully it's faster than that, too. To put it back in its original position, just simply reverse that, and pull towards you, and push it back in. more

Speaker 1: Today, on our 2017 Toyota Highlander, we're gonna be test fitting the Yakima Ridgeback four bike rack for 1 1/4" and 2" hitches, part number Y02458. We already have our bike installed on our rack. Let's go and take a closer look here. Starting with our arms, at the ends of both of them, we do have the patented Yakima bottle openers. The cradles are gonna be stationary, meaning they can't move back and forth. But they do have this TPE padding here, which is gonna help absorb some of the shock while you're driving and help protect the frame of your bike. more
