Today on our 2016 Kia Sorento, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Hidden Hitch Custom Fit Class 4 Trailer Hitch Receiver. This is going to offer the 2 inch opening, its part number is 87665. Here's what our hitch looks like once we get it installed, you'll see it tucks up really close under the bumper here, which is nice. We're not going to have it hanging down too much. This is a class 4 hitch so it offers the 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube openings. You've got nice large safety chain connection points on either side, so connecting trailers or anything like that aren't going to be an issue at all. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2016 Kia Sorento, we're going to take a look at, and show you how to install the Curt Custom-Fit Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver. It offers the 2 inch opening. It's part number is C13195. Here's what our hitch is going to look like once installed. As you can see it tucks up really nice right underneath that rear bumper. We're using all factory connection points with the installation, so we don't have to do any drilling or any modification. We'll lower the exhaust down just to give us some room to work, lower the appearance panel down here to give us a little bit of room to work, but really not that involved. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Kia Sedona - Curt- Video
Today on a 2011 Kia Sedona we are going to review and install the Curt class 3, 2 inch receiver hitch, part number C13345. Now here is what it's going to look like once it is installed. As you can see just below the rear fascia is our completely steel round cross tube, and fully welded constructed hitch. The hitch itself has a nice black powder coated finish to resist rust and corrosion, and the cross tube will lead to our chain hold down on each side. By the spin roll that goes through our receiver tube and our class 3, 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube. The hitch itself is capable of up to 350 lbs of tongue weight and a 3500 lbs tow capacity. Next, we will give you a couple measurements. This will assist you select accessories such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hold to the outer most edge of the bumper is approximately 6 inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening down to the ground, is approximately 12 inches. Next, we will go ahead and show you the minimum tools required for installing the hitch. We are going to use our 1/2 inch tube brush and a spray lubricant, 3/4 inch socket, using extension, ratchet, and then our torque wrench. Now let's go ahead and show you just how easy it is to install the hitch. Now that we did our install, let's go ahead and point out the attachment points. Now we are going to have a total of 6 attachment points, 3 on each side. more

As you can see, our main supports are up out of the way, not really visible, got just a small section hanging down here so not a big cosmetic change to the rear of the car. Today on our 2015 Kia Sedona we'll be installing the CURT 2" receiver tube hitch, part number C13115. Here's what our hitch will look like once it's installed. We've got a nice black finish with round tube construction for our crosstube. We have our 2" by 2" receiver tube and our chain hold downs. With that construction we have a total of 400 pounds of available tongue weight and 4,000 pounds of towing weight. While the hitch does hang underneath the vehicle a little bit, it's still recessed so it doesn't hang out beyond the bumper. Today on our 2014 Kia Sorrento, we'll be installing the Curt trailer hitch receiver, in a class 2, with 1 1/4 inch opening on the receiver, part number C12113. Here's what the hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is approximately 4 and 1/2 and from the ground to the top of the opening in the receiver is approximately 13 inches. Now let's go ahead and installour hitch. Now we've already gone ahead and lowered the spare tire down out of the way, with our spare tire down out of the way, next we're going to need to lower the exhaust. To do this we'll need to remove 3 rubber isolators. more
