Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2014 Nissan Titan. Up top here we're going to have a Draw-Tite. It's going to be a Class 3 hitch. Then right below that we're going to have another Class 3, but it's going to be a CURT hitch. If it we're me looking for a hitch, I would go with the Draw-Tite just because it is going to have a few minor differences and features that the CURT's not going to have. Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Nissan Titan- Video
Today in our 2014 Nissan Titan, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class III custom fit trailer hitch receiver, part number 13199. So here's what our hitch looks like once we have it installed. It's going to sit right below the bumper, and it's going to be pretty even to being flushed with it as well. It's a Class III hitch, which means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. We're going to have a really wide variety of options for accessories that we can mount up.And the way we're going to mount all those accessories, is through the hitch pin hole here on the side and it is going to accept a standard 5/8 pin and clip. Today, on our 2014 Nissan Titan, we'll be installing the Draw-Tite Hitch, part number 41551. This is what our hitch should look like once it's installed. Next, we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements to assist your selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is 3 inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 21 and a 1/2 inches. This will assist your selecting accessories; such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. Now, we'll go ahead with the installation. To begin our install, we'll first go ahead and point out the attachment points. more
