Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitches available for the 2007 to 2017 Jeep Wrangler. Now we've tested all of these hitches on numerous different Jeeps that we have here around the shop, and basically each one of them is going to have strengths and weaknesses depending on what you're going to do with your Jeep.Now later in the video we're going to get into some specifics on each of the hitches, the measurements and things like that. But if you're just interested in knowing which is going to be better for what, we can handle that now and save you some time.Basically, if you're into off-roading, departure angle is usually an issue. That's how steep of an angle on the back of your Jeep you can come off and slide down a hill. If that's a concern, either the Etrailer part number E98835 or the CURT part number 13432, they're going to be best. Basically, the receiver tube opening here on each of the hitches is going to be even with your bumper. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2008 Jeep Wrangler- Video
Today on this 2008 Jeep Wrangler, were going to install part number 9883544 from Curt. Were going to start off with the exhaust, and were going have to lower that out of the way just to give us a little more working room to slide the bolts in, and thats it. Well spray down the rubber hangers with some lubricant, and then pry them off. Now we can go ahead and show where the hitch will mount up to the vehicle, its going to mount on the last cross member 00:28 right here. It basically doubles the bumpers structure itself. Theres four holes on the back side of this structure that well run bolts through. The hitch will wrap around the bumper structure. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2008 Jeep Wrangler 13432- Video
Today on this 2008 Jeep Wrangler, we are going to install part number 13432 from Curt. We are going to start off with the exhaust and we are just going to lower that out of the way, just to get us a little bit more working room to slide the bolts in. We will spray down the rubber hangers with some lubricant and then pry them off. Alright, now we can go ahead and show you were the hitch will mount up to the vehicle. It is going to mount on the last cross member right here, which basically doubles as the bumper structure itself.
