Hey everyone, Ryan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be checkin' out some of our best trailer hitch options for the 2009 Chrysler 300. We're gonna be looking at three different trailer hitches today. So we have the CURT right here, this is the round tube hitch and it's gonna have a two inch by two inch opening. We have the Draw-Tite with a two inch by two inch opening and the third one is actually installed on our vehicle. This is gonna be a CURT hitch as well. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2009 Chrysler 300 - Curt- Video
Today, on our 2009 Chrysler 300, we'll be installing the Curt Hitch, part number C12240. Here's what our hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now, we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements in helping you choose some accessories for your hitch, such as a ball mount, bicycle rack, or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost edge of the bumper is approximately 6-3/4 inches. From the top of the opening in the receiver to the ground is approximately 10 inches. Now let's go ahead and install our hitch. To begin with, we'll need to go ahead and lower our exhaust out of the way. more
