Today we're going to be taking a look at the best trailer hitch options for your 2017 Chevrolet Express van. On top we've got our Class 5 CURT followed by our Draw-Tite Class 5 Draw-Tite. Down below that we have our Class 4 CURT. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Chevrolet Express Van - Curt- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Express van, we're gonna be installing Curt's two inch trailer hitch receiver, part number C15320.This is what our hitch is gonna look like when it's installed. The cross tube is gonna be visible underneath the bumper, but it's gonna be tucked back pretty far so it's not gonna detract from the looks. One of the things you will notice right away is how rough and rigid this cross tube looks. It's very thick, as this is one of the strongest, highest rated hitches for this vehicle. This receiver's gonna be a class five, two inch by two inch receiver. It's gonna use a 5/8 inch hitch pin, which does not come included, but you can pick one up here at etrailer.com, and features plate style safety chain loops that are extremely thick, so they're gonna be nice and rigid.It may give a little trouble when using smaller safety chains, as they may not fit properly over the larger thick metal, but it'll be great for your larger heavy-duty safety chains. more

Today in our 2017 Chevrolet Express, we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Class 5 trailer hitch receiver with the cast 2 inch setting. Part number is 41946. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. You'll see the side plates come down and then that cross tube is going to remain visible across the rear of the vehicle. Here in the center, even though it is a Class 5 hitch, we have the 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening. See this is a cast section, so we're going to have a lot of durability with it. more

Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Chevrolet Express Van- Video
Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Express we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Draw-Tite Custom-Fit Class 5 trailer hitch receiver. This offers a 2-1/2" by 2-1/2" receiver tube opening. Its part number is DT45507. Now here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. We've got our side plates and our large square tube that comes over. This is going to meet at our receiver tube opening. This is a Class 5 hitch and it offers the 2-1/2" by 2-1/2" receiver tube opening. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Chevrolet Express Van - Curt 14090- Video
Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Express van, we will be installing the Curt class four trailer hitch receiver, part number 14090. Now here's what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see it's nice and tucked up underneath our bumper cover here. It's also recessed back behind our bumper so when we're going to load cargo into the back of our van we don't have to worry about running our shin or knee into the back of the hitch hurting ourselves. Now, this hitch has a nice high gloss black powder coat finish throughout it's entire construction. It will provide us with many years of rust free and corrosion free service. Welded onto the bottom of our hitch on the frame here and the receiver, we have our safety chain plate with the loops here to connect our safety chains to. At the side of our receiver, we have our industry standard five eighths of an inch diameter hitch pin hole here to secure whatever hitch mounted accessory we may have. more

Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Express van, we'll be installing a Draw Tite Max-E-Loader class three trailer hitch receiver, part number 41521. All right, here's what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see it's tucked up nicely underneath our back bumper. It's a nice feature that I like because when you're loading cargo into the back of your van, you don't have to worry about running your shin into the back of it. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Chevrolet Express Van - Draw-Tite 36206- Video
Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Express van, we'll be installing the Draw-Tite Class two trailer hitch receiver part number 36206. Right here's what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see, it's nice and tucked up high and tight underneath our bumper here. It's also recessed back behind it so when we're loading cargo in and out of the back of our van we don't have to worry about running our shin of our leg into it, possibly injuring ourself. This hitch features a nice gloss black powder coat finish throughout it's entire construction to provide us with many years of rust free and corrosion free service. On the bottom of our Class two inch and a quarter receiver here, we have our nice easy to use safety chain loops which will be able to hook up safety chains all the way around. If we need to clip one on the side, it won't be an issue. We can easily do that. To the side of our receiver we have our industry standard half inch diameter hitch pin hold to secure whatever hitch knot and accessory we may have. Now at the end of our receiver here, we have this nice collar that's welded on to help give it a more finished look and give it some added strength. This hitch features a 300 pound max tongue weight rating and a 3,500 pound max gross trailer weight rating. more

Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Express van, we'll be installing the Draw-Tite Max-Frame class III trailer hitch receiver, part number 75189. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see, it's nice and tucked up, about even with the bottom of our bumper here. It's recessed a little bit behind it, too, so when we're loading cargo in and out of the back of our van, we don't have to worry about running our shin into it. This hitch features a nice gloss black powder coat construction throughout it's entire frame. That way, it'll resist rust and corrosion for many years on down the road. We have these nice, large, easy to use safety chain loops, that are on a plate mold on the bottom of our receiver and the frame of the hitch. more
