Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500 we're gonna be showing you how to install the CURT Double Lock under-bed gooseneck trailer hitch kit. But before we get into that, why don't we just take a minute, check this out and make sure it's gonna work for you. If I have any gooseneck trailer hitch back here, it's gonna allow you to hook up to all those different types of trailers. Whether you're trying to pull a camper around or a car hauler or whatever you might have, you want a reliable hitch that is gonna provide us with a really secure connection point. B and W Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we're going to be installing BMW's turnover ball under bed gooseneck, part number BWGNRK1016. Now this is what our goose neck is going to look like when it's installed. It's going to allow you to hook up to your gooseneck trailer, and has a tongue weight of 7,500 pounds, and a gross towing capacity of 30,000 pounds. The safety chain connections are retractable and spring loaded, so when you're not using them they spring down to be flushed, stay out of your way. When you're ready to use them you can just pull them up and make your connection. The included ball mount can be flipped over and stored upside down, and this way you've got full truck bed access. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose Under bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with custom installation kit, part number 9465-56. Here's what our goose neck looks like installed.We have our spring loaded handle here, which locks our ball into place. We have our spring loaded safety chain loops here, which allow us to attach the safety chains from our trailer. And here's what it looks like in the bed of the truck. You'll notice that this does allow us to maximize our usable bed space, because the gooseneck head itself sits flush with the top of the bed. Today in our 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD we'll be having a look at and installing the Reese Elite Series Under-Bed Gooseneck Complete Hitch, Part Number RP30158-68. Here's what our Under-Bed Gooseneck and Fifth Wheel System looks like installed. Now what sets this system apart from other systems on the market is that this basically turns your truck from a non-factory prep package to a factory prep package. And what that means is if you had bought a truck off the lot that had the factory prep package installed, you would have these four pucks right here to drop in a Fifth Wheel or a Fifth Wheel slider into them. In the middle you would have your standard 2 5/16 Gooseneck ball that you can install into place for your Gooseneck trailer. If you didn't have the factory prep package on your truck when you bought it this basically converts it to it so you have the cleanest look and the most ease of use when you're using it to tow a Fifth Wheel or a Gooseneck trailer. The reason you want this particular system over others on the market is it does give you the versatility to tow a Gooseneck or a Fifth Wheel trailer, but yet gives you the cleanest look possible while making sure you still have your maximum amount of bed space available to you so when you're not towing a trailer, if you need to use your bed for hauling construction supplies, moving around gravel or rocks or anything of that nature, you still have the maximum amount of room. Everything installed in the system is mounted underneath the bed of the truck so it doesn't take up any of your bed space at all. Now when you're not towing a Fifth Wheel trailer, you can cover up the pucks with the included plugs. more
