Hi everyone. Aiden here at etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at the Swagman Pickup Bed-mounted Bike Rack on our 2022 RAM 1500. So this is going to be a bar that goes between the bed rails of your truck and holds in place through friction. You can see as I pull up on it it's staying in there nice and secure and it gets a good hold on the bikes too. This is going to be a fork-mounted bike rack which means we remove the front wheel on our bike and hold it by the forks here using the included quick release skewer. more

This one's unique, because it actually mounts in your truck bed here between the bed rails, and allows you to mount the bikes by the forks. This comes with a nine millimeter quick-release skewer or works with a 15 millimeter thru-axle. Thule Truck Bed Bike Racks Review - 2020 Ram 1500- Video

Andy: Hello, everyone. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're going to take a look at the Thule Gatemate Pro on our 2020 Ram 1500.All right. So looking at the Gatemate Pro, we are using the 53 inch version today. The reason being is we do have a roll-up tonneau cover and we didn't want to have any interference with clearance issues, if we we're using the larger eight bike 60 inch version. So this one does accommodate seven bikes and it is a great option when it comes to not wanting to add any extra length on a full-sized truck like this with a hitch mounted bike rack.So looking a little closer, you can see that we have kind of these padded separators. more

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Swagman Paramount Tailgate Pad on our 2020 Ram 1500.So if you're really looking for an alternative to get your bikes to and from the destination, maybe just upgrade from throwing them in the bed of your truck, this is going to be the most cost effective way to do so. It's not going to require you to put anything on your hitch and add a little bit of length to the back of your truck. And of course, with the truck being a little bit taller, it's probably not the best idea to put it up on the roof.So right now, we can actually go ahead and put five bikes on here. It is going to be a little cramped, but with the 54 inches that we have here, it's going to be good enough. This will fit on mid-sized trucks and also just your full-sized trucks. more

This is 60 inches wide, takes up our entire tailgate, allows us to get our bikes to our favorite destination without installing anything in our hitch or having to install something up on our roof. The GateMate Pro solves a couple different problems for pickup owners. It allows us to get our bikes to our favorite destination using our truck bed, but in an organized way, instead of just tossing our bikes in our truck bed and they get tangled up or they lay down flat or something. Thule Truck Bed Bike Racks Review - 2016 Ram 1500- Video

Today on this 2016 Ram 1500 we're going to be showing you the Thule Insta-Gater Truck Bed bike rack, part number TH501. How the bike is actually attached to the rack it's going to have 1 point of contact and that's going to be at the wheel hook here. That holds it in place while it's in the bed of your truck. To loosen that up there's a button at the bottom here. You push that in and that will loosen up the hook enabling you to lower it and take out the bike. To put it in place, it just ratchets into place like so. We'll go ahead and loosen that up, lower it down. more

Today, on this 2016 Ram 1500, we're going to be test fitting the Softride Shuttle Pad Tailgate Bike Carrier, part number SR26457. Now to begin we're going to go ahead and take the Shuttle Pad and just set it up and over our tailgate. Then next what we're going to do is we're going to take these straps and feed them in between the tailgate and the bed of the truck. There's a couple ways you can do this. Inno Truck Bed Bike Racks Review - 2016 Ram 1500- Video

Today on this 2016 RAM1500 we are going to test fitting the inno velo gripper bike rack for truck beds, part number INRT201. As you can see, we already have the bike installed on our clamps. If you come over here, we will show off some of the features here. It grips it at 2 points of contact to the bike's frame at these wheel mounts here. It has these strips that hold it in place, as well as these anker points on the clamps so you can have additional straps to hold them in place which you can find on etrailer.com. Let's go ahead and remove those straps and take the bike and get it out of the way. more

Today on our 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 we're going to be doing a test fit on the Thule Gate Mate. This is going to be your Tailgate Pad for your bicycles, it'll be Part Number TH823. This is the 54 inch edition, there is also a 62, but we're going to be doing the 54 because this truck does have the Ram boxes. The built in toolboxes in the tailgate so this will be for more of the compact bed sizes. Also if you have a bigger one, you'll want the larger of the 2. As you can see this fits in there very nicely, both sides not even making contact. more

Today on our 2015 Ram 1500, we're going to go ahead and do a test fit of the Swagman Pick-Up Truck-Bed-Mounted 2-Bike Rack. This would be Part Number S64702. First thing we're going to do is you're going to locate the locking mechanism. We'll go ahead and take our key, insert it with the tip down, and go ahead and turn that one full turn, and pull it out. That will allow the knob to be out here to where we can push the nipple in, and pull that part down. With that part down, we will go ahead and place the edge of this on the line on our bed. more

Today, on our 2014 Ram 1500, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Gate Mate. This is a padded tailgate cover that'll also act as a bike rack. Its part number is TH824. To begin our test fit, we're going to place the Gate Mate right up over our tailgate. This is the one designed for the wider width, so it's 62" wide. As you'll see, we're going to have 3 straps hanging off the front of it. These straps need to be fed around the underside of our tailgate, and we'll fit them into the clips that are on the backside. more

Swagman Pick Up Truck Bed Bike Racks Review - 2014 Ram 1500- Video

Today on our 2014 Ram 1500, we're going to be test fitting the Swagman Pickup, this is a bed mounted two bike rack. It's designed with the fork clamp style bike holders. It's part number is S64702. To begin the test fit, we first need to roughly size our bike rack. To do this, we're going to pull out on the side here on the passenger side. It's a ratcheting style system, so as you pull it out, the small catch here is going to catch in and hold that position in for us. Slide it out far enough to where it makes contact with the bed rail, then we'll find a fixed point to use on both sides to be sure we have both of the bed rail holders in line with one another. more
