How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the best towing mirrors for your 2017 Chevrolet Colorado. We're gonna investigate to find out what the best towing mirror is for the Colorado. I fit the ones that we have available for the vehicle here at etrailer.com, and this is what I came up with. So, starting out universal towing mirrors, they have a place, I mean, if you're a person that has multiple vehicles, multiple trailers, it may be a good idea to have 'em on hand, but in general they're not a great option versus a custom fit. The straps, over time, wear out and they stretch. And as you can see right here, this one is already adjusted out and it doesn't fit around the mirror and that's just stationary here, not going down the road. more

It's gonna allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer or camper. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror but not the factory mirror. Now if I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up. Right here is the view you get with just your factory mirror.A few great things about this towing mirror are, for one, it's for temporary use, so we can take it off when we're done towing. more

As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror.Now if I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see, there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up. But right here is the view you get with just your factory mirror. The mirror itself can be adjusted 360 degrees, so if you'd like to turn it to the horizontal position for a different view, you have that option. more
