Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at our best trailer hitch options for your 2014 Lincoln MKZ. So we're gonna have two different hitches here today that we're gonna be checking out. The one up top here is gonna be the CURT hitch and this one right here is going to be the Draw-Tite. Now, before we get kinda carried away with some of the differences and similarities, I figured it'd be worth sharing just to throw out there which one I would choose for my own Lincoln and a little bit why. And I think I would definitely lean towards the CURT and really that's for a couple of different reasons. more

Today on our 2014 Lincoln MKZ, we're going to review and install hidden hitch, clasp 1, 1 1/4 inch, receiver 2 hitch, part number 60322. Now here's what our hitch's going to look like once installed. As you can see, we've got a square, cross-tube design and a fully welded construction with a nice black, powder-coated finish. This is our clasp 1, 1 1/4 inch by 1 1/4 inch receiver tube as the half inch pre-drill hole, along with chain hold downs. This hitch is capable of up to 200 pounds of tongue weight and 2000 pounds of tow capacity. Next, I'll give you a couple measurements to assist when you select your accessories for your new hitch, such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch-pin hole, to the outermost edge of the bumper is 4 1/2 inches. more

Today on our 2014 Lincoln MKZ we're going to review and install the CURT class two 1-1/4" receiver tube hitch, part number C12091. Here's with our hitch is going to look like once it's installed. It's got a square or rectangular crosstube and a fully welded construction. What's really nice is that our crosstube is mainly hidden behind the rear fascia. Here out towards the end of our fascia, though, is our 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" class two receiver tube, 1/2" pre-drilled holes on each side of our receiver tube, along with our chain hold downs. This hitch is capable of up to 350 pounds of tongue weight and 3,500 pound tow capacity. Next I'll give you a couple measurements to assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. more

Now here's what our hitch is going to look like once it's installed. As you can see, we've got a square crosstube design and a fully welded construction with a nice black powder-coated finish. This is our class one 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" receiver tube. Has the 1/2" pre-drilled hole on each side of the receiver tube along with chain hold downs. This hitch is capable of up to 200 pounds of tongue weight and 2,000 pounds of two capacity.
