CIPA Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, we're going to be doing a test fit on the CIPA clip-on towing mirror, part number 7070. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer or camper. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. Now if I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see, there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you get with just your factory mirror. The mirror itself can be rotated 360 degrees, so if you'd like to keep it at that horizontal position for a different view, you have that option. Now it can also be adjusted to most angles. more

It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer or a camper. Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, we're going to be doing a test fit on the CIPA dual view clip on towing mirror, part number 11953. It offers us a wide field of view, it's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer or camper. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror but not the factory mirror. Between both mirrors, the larger and the smaller one, you get the same view, just a closer more clear view in the larger one. Now, if I take a few steps in towards my trailers, you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you get with just your factory mirror. Both the larger and the smaller mirrors can be adjusted to most angles. We've got our up and down, diagonal, and side to side. Each one of our tabs is not going to interfere with the operation or movement of our factory mirror and we can even still fold it in. more

Longview Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Today we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Longview Custom Towing Mirrors. These are a slip on design for the driver and passenger side. Part number is LVT-1800. Now let's take a look at that field of view increase that we'll get from our towing mirrors. Right now I'm about 16, 20 feet behind our truck and as I start stepping over it's not a wonder to see that we're staying in that factory mirror. It's when we get over to this point where we really need that extra field of view when we're maneuvering that we start to lose it and that's where our towing mirror's really going to take over. As you can see it extends our field of view way out here to where we can see the corners of trailer, anything around us, and really help us navigate. Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we're going to show you how to install the K-Source Custom Towing Mirror. These are a snap on design for the driver and passenger side. Part number is KS80910. Now here's a good look at how this field of view will be increased with our towing mirrors. Right now I'm pretty much standing right behind the driver's seat, about where a 16 foot trailer would end. You can see as I step over we've got a good field of view. We can see it plenty. more
