Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Equinox, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the K Source universal towing mirror. This is also available in a pair. Our towing mirror's really going to expand our field of view. These are really going to help us when we're backing up, parking, or even changing lanes. As you can see where I'm standing now, I'm visible in the towing mirror and not in the factory mirror. That's how much more we're going to be able to see.Now since these mirrors are universal, if you happen to have any other SUVs or trucks in the household, these will probably work for that too. more

K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors Installation - 2014 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Equinox, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors.With our towing mirror on it's really going to expand our field of view. It's going to help us a lot when we're backing up, parking, or even changing lanes. Right now you can see me in the towing mirror, but you can't see me in the factory mirror. That's how much more we're going to be able to see with the towing mirror installed.These towing mirrors are universal fit, so if you have another SUV or a truck in the household, chances are pretty good you can use it with those too.Keep in mind on our Equinox it does limit our adjustability of the factory mirror, however you can make up for some of that adjustability because the towing mirror itself has quite the range of motion.You're not going to have to worry about our towing mirror damaging your vehicle's finish, because the straps are rubber coated. If you need to fold your mirror in for whatever reason, you can still do that.To begin our install we're going to take our towing mirror, we're going to make sure that these plastic clips are pushed all the way down like this. These are actually going to rest in our mirror housing, that way when we tighten it, these will hold our towing mirror to our factory mirror.I'm going to go ahead and push our plastic clips in between the mirror glass itself and the housing. more
