Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the pewag All Square Snow Tire Chains with Cams here on our 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. So this can be a pretty decent way of giving yourself some traction control. The one thing I will say about it though, because of the limitations of our wheel and how close we are to our front struts, we're gonna be limited, only keeping this on the back wheels here of your Jeep Grand Cherokee. You are gonna need yourself a Class S compatible chain for those front tires. So if that's something you're looking for, I highly recommend the Konig XG-12 Pros, those are a really nice way to stay nice, low profile but giving you the traction control that we're looking for on those front tires. Now that can be really important for some because that's where a lot of our steering is gonna be coming from, from that front. more

So, these are gonna be a pretty decent way of giving us some traction control. Albeit we do have steel rollers here today, so they're not gonna be your most aggressive option. But they are gonna be though, really, really smooth when you are driving. Not gonna see too much difference. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to be test fitting the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains with Cams, part number: TC2228SCAM. Today, we're working with tire size: 265-60-R18.These chains are constructed from a manganese-nickel alloy, which makes them corrosion resistant, and strong and durable at the same time. These tire chains have a square-length-ladder-pattern design. The links are small, which will help you with traction in both snow and ice, and also make for a much smoother ride while you drive too, and wear evenly over time. The chains also have these cam tensioners, which will take up all the play in the chains that you may have once they're installed.These come in a quantity of two and they can be used in either the rear-wheel or the front-wheel drive vehicles or all-wheel drive, of course. They have a maximum speed rating of 30 miles per hour once they're installed.Installing tire chains can be a little tough on the hands, so we do recommend that you wear a pair of gloves when you install these. more

Speaker 1: Today in our 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee we're gonna be test fitting the Titan chain snow tire chains with V bar links, part number TC2828. Today we're working with tire size 26560R18. These chains are made from low carbon steel, which makes them very durable. They have a latter pattern design. They also have these V bar links to them as well. Now, the latter pattern design will help out with effective starts and stops in the deeps snow and the V bar design here, that's gonna help with effective starts and stops in ice. more

Today, we're working with tire size 265/60R18. These chains are designed for wide-rimmed tires and they have a ladder pattern to them, as well as a twist-link design. The ladder pattern will help out with effective starts and stops in the snow and ice. However, when it comes to turns, you may have a little bit of difficulty with that. more
