Hi, Matt with etrailer, and today we're gonna be talk about the best raised rail roof rack option for you on our 2019 Subaru Forester. If you do not know if you have raised rails, a good way to check is just to come over to your vehicle and if you can get your hand underneath your rails, then you got 'em. If you are having issues trying to find out what's gonna be the best fit for you, you can actually plug in your vehicle's information into our fit guide to find what's gonna be the best fit for you. Today we have broken this into three different categories of what's gonna be the best options for you for different scenarios. Now we do have plenty of other options on our website, but this is what we determine to be the best ones after test fitting them on the Subaru. Today on our 2019 Subaru Forester, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack System.This system is specifically designed to fit your raised rails on your Subaru Forester. I've got it in place, just to give you a good idea what it looks like. Let's go ahead and take a closer look.It features 47" long crossbars, you can see here how they span across the roof of our Forester. This is going to allow us to carry multiple accessories. Maybe we'd like to get three bike racks up there, or maybe two kayaks. So just keep that in mind.Now they're made out of aluminum, so we don't need to worry about rust or corrosion. more

Today on our 2019 Subaru Forester, we're gonna be doing a test fit on the Thule SquareBar roof rack system. This system is specifically designed to mount to your raised rails on your Forester. With this system it's gonna allow you to carry roof-mounted accessories, things like bike racks, kayak carriers, cargo boxes and much more. The SquareBar's stretch across our roof 47 inches, so we're not gonna be able to carry just one accessory. We can carry maybe two, three bike racks, two kayaks, whichever you'd prefer.You can see how it has that SquareBar design. It features grooves up top. more

Yakima RailBar Crossbars Installation - 2019 Subaru Forester- Video
So today on our 2019 Subaru Forester, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Yakima RailBar roof rack system. I've already got it in place just to give you a good idea of what it looks like. With this system, it's going to allow us to carry roof-mounted accessories, things like bike racks, kayak carriers, cargo boxes, and more. Now the crossbars are going to offer us about 32" of usable space, so we'll be able to carry not one bike rack, but maybe two or three bike racks, or even two kayaks up there.
