Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Nissan Xterra- Video
Today on our 2013 Nissan Xterra, we'll be test fitting the Thule Complete Crossroad Kit with 50" long bars and locks, part number TH45050. With our feet and load bars already assembled, we'll begin our test fit by placing the front load bar onto the roof of our vehicle. We'll then measure from a fixed point on both the passenger and driver side of the vehicle, ensuring that the front load bar is perpendicular to the side rails of our Xterra. Once we've established this position, we can then measure the overhang of the load bar on both the passenger and driver side, giving it an even look. Once we've established this position, we can then pull out the end cap to loosen up the Allen bolt to bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the raised side rail and hook them back into position. We'll then tighten it down and replace our end cap. more
