Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2007 Volkswagen Jetta- Video
Today on our 2007 Volkswagen Jetta, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box measuring22 cubic feet in metallic silver, part number TH636S. With the Thule Rapid Traverse roof rack system already assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by removing our rear antenna. We'll grab our box and place it under our roof rack. With the feet hanging out in the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as necessary to fit around each load bar. With our back situated the way we like, we can open the box by removing the key to the unlock position and lifting up on the lid. We'll tighten down the two hand knobs on this side of the box to secure our feet around our bars. more

Today, on our 2007 Volkswagen Jetta, well be test fitting the Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box measuring 13 cubic feet in Glossy Black, part number TH634B. With the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System assembled on to our vehicle and our rear antenna removed, well begin our test fit by placing the Thule sonic directly on to our load bars. Just the feet are hanging out at the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as necessary to fit around our bars. With our box scooted forward, we do have room for our rear end antenna so well screw that back into place. Well open the passenger side of the box and tighten the 2 hand knobs on this side to tighten our feet around our bars. One of the great features of the Thule sonic is that when your feet are tight enough around the bars, you'll hear a clicking noise. more

Please keep in mind that this box opens from one side only, so we'll be sitting it towards thepassenger's side for easier accessibility. With the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack system assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Thule Pulse directly onto our load bars. We'll also want to make sure that we have the box set as far forward as possible, that way we do not have to remove our rear antenna. Once we have the box in place, we'll open the box and place our feet through the appropriate slots. We can then use the attached hand knobs to secure them around our bars. With all four feet tight, our box is secured, and we're ready to go. That completes today's test fit of the Thule Pulse Medium rooftop cargo box, part number TH614, on our 2007 Volkswagen Jetta. more

Please keep in mind that the Thule Pulse Alpine opens from one side only, so we'll be sitting it towards our passenger's side for easier accessibility. We'll open the box and place our feet through the appropriate slots, making sure that they go around the load bars. Well begin our test fit by placing the Thule force directly on to our load bars. Since the feet are already hanging out at the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as necessary to fit around each bar. Once we have this situated, we can open the passenger side of the box and tighten down the 2 hand knobs on this side to tighten our feet around our bars. One of the great features of the Thule force is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. Well move to the driver side, open the box and tighten down the 2 remaining feet using the hand knobs. more

Today, on our 2007 Volkswagen Jetta, we'll be test-fitting the Thule Force Medium Rooftop Cargo Box, measuring 13 cubic feet, in Aeroskin Black, park number TH624. With the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack system on our vehicle, and our rear antenna removed, we'll go ahead and place the Thule Force directly onto our load bars. As you can see, we can re-install our rear antenna without it making contact with the rear of our box. In order to do this, we need to make sure that our box is set as far forward as possible. Once we have our box situated, we can open the passenger's side of the box and use the two hand knobs on this side to tighten our feet around our bars. One of the great features of the Thule Force is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. We'll move to the driver's side, open the box and tighten down the two remaining feet using the hand knobs. more
