Today on our 2012 Toyota Sienna we'll be test fitting the Yakima RocketBox Rooftop Cargo Carrier 11 Cubic Feet in Black, part number y07193. With the factory roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle we'll begin by placing our RocketBox directly onto our crossbars. We'll want to go ahead and set the box all the way forward so we can have access to our rear hatch.To adjust our feet we'll need to open the box and use the dial connected to the slider and then we're able to slide our feet back and forth. Then we can go ahead and use the hank knob to tighten them into position. We'll close this side of the box, go to the other side and take advantage of one of the cool features of the box which is its ability to open from both sides.We'll adjust our feet the same way by being able to slide them over our crossbars and then use the hand knobs to tighten them down. Here at the rear we can have full access to our cargo area by opening our rear hatch without it making contact with our cargo box. more

Today on our 2012 Toyota Sienna well be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box 22 cubic feet in metallic silver, part number th636s. With a factory roof rack system assembled onto our Sienna, well begin by placing our cargo box directly onto our crossbars with the feet already hanging out the bottom of the box. It would be ideal if they were preset according to the crossbar distance, but in this case theyre not set to that distance so well show you how to move them with the box on our vehicle. Well open the passenger side, lift up on our box, and slide our feet so theyre fitting over our crossbar. Well do this for the both the rear part and the front part of our box. Once we have those in place, we can then use the hand knob to secure our box. more

Today on our 2012 Toyota Sienna, we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Alpine rooftop cargo box, 11 cubic feet in met black, part number TH613. We'll begin by placing our cargo box directly onto our factory roof rack system. Once we have it situated the way we like, we can open the box and put the feet through the appropriate slots, making sure that the claws of the feet go around our crossbars. Once we have all the clamps around our crossbars, we can then use the hand knobs to tighten down each clamp. Now that our box is secure to our roof rack, we'll close it up and check the rear for rear hatch access. When trying to open our door, we find out that it does make contact with our cargo box. more

Today on our 2012 Toyota Sienna, we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Large rooftop cargo box, 16 cubic feet in met black, part number TH615. With the factory roof rack system assembled on to our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Thule Pulse directly onto our crossbars. We'll want to place it close to the passenger's side since it is a wide box and only opens from one side of the vehicle. We'll open the box, place our feet through the appropriate slots, making sure that the claws of the feet go around our crossbars. Then we can use the hand knobs to tighten each clamp. One we have them all tight and secure, we can close our box and then check the rear of our vehicle for rear hatch access. more

We'll place it close to the passenger's side and open the box. We'll feed our clamps through the appropriate slots, making sure that the seat of the clamp go around each crossbar. Once we have them all in place, we can then use the hand knob to tighten each one down. When opening the rear hatch door to gain access to our cargo area, we see that it does not make contact with the cargo box. more

Today on our 2012 Toyota Sienna, we'll be test putting the Thule Force XXL rooftop cargo box, 21 cubic feet and aero skin black, part number TH626. With the factory roof track system assembled on our vehicle, we'll begin our test set by placing our force directly onto our crossbars. With the seat hanging out of the bottom of the box, we'll go ahead and sit them around our crossbars as we place it onto our roof rack. We'll line it up the way we like and then open the passenger's side of the box to tighten down the seat on this side. We do this by tightening the hand mount attached to the seat on the inside of the box. One of the great features of the Thule Force is its ability to open from both sides of the vehicle. more

Today on our 2012 Toyota Sienna, we'll be testing the Thule Force medium rooftop cargo box, 13 cubic feet in aero black, part number TH624. Our Sienna has a factory roof rack system. We will begin our test set by placing our Thule Force directly onto our cross bars. With the seat already hanging out of the bottom of the box, we'll go ahead and fit them around the crossbars as we put our box onto our roof rack. Once we have the box situated, we'll open the passenger's side and use the hand knobs to tighten down each foot. Once we have this side tightened and secure, we can move to the driver's side of the vehicle and take advantage of the dual side opening lids and tighten the clamps on this side. more

SportRack Aero Roof Cargo Box Installation - 2012 Toyota Sienna

Today on our 2012 Toyota Sienna we'll be test-fitting the SportRack Aero XL Cargo Box, part number A90275. To begin our test-fit we'll simply place our cargo box on top of our crossbars and line up the holes in the cargo box with our crossbars. We'll now go ahead and center the box with the vehicle. We can then take the included hardware, putting the metal U-clamp underneath the crossbars and securing it with the included wing nuts. And with all four clamps in place and tight our cargo box is secured to the vehicle and we're ready to load it up. One quick measurement, the cargo box will add 23 inches of height to the vehicle from the roof line. more
