Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2011 Mazda 3- Video
Today on our 2011 Mazda 3, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL rooftop cargo box, measuring 22 cubic feet, in color metallic silver, part number TH636S. With the Thule AeroBlade roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle, we'll place our box directly onto our load bars. Since the feet are already hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as necessary to fit around our load bars while placing our box onto our roof rack. We'll open the passenger side of the box and tighten down the hand knobs to secure our feet around our bars. Once we have the two feet on this side secured, we can take advantage of one of the great features of this box, which is its ability to open from both sides of the vehicle. We'll open the driver side, and tighten down the two remaining clamps. more

With the Thule AeroBlade roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Sonic directly onto our load bars. With the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as needed to fit around our load bars while placing our box onto our roof rack. Once we have it situated the way we prefer, we can then open one side of the box and use the hand knobs to tighten our feet around our load bars. Once we have the two feet on this side tight, we can close the box and take advantage of one of the great features, which is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. We'll go over to the driver side, open the box, and tighten down the two remaining feet. more

Today on our 2011 Mazda 3, we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Large rooftop cargo box, measuring 16 cubic feet, in color matte black, part number TH615. With the Thule AeroBlade roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the box directly onto our load bars. Since this box opens from one side only, we'll scoot it towards the passenger side for an ease of access when loading and unloading our gear. We'll open the box, place our feet through the appropriate slots, making sure that they go around our load bars. With each foot in place, we can use the attached hand knobs to tighten our feet around our bars, and secure our box to our roof rack. With everything tight, our box is secured, and we're ready to go. more

Since this box opens from one side only, we're scooting the box towards the passenger side for ease of access when loading and unloading our gear. We can then open the box and place our feet through the appropriate slot, making sure that each foot goes around our load bars. Once we have them in place, we can make our way around and tighten the attached hand knobs to tighten our feet around our load bars. With everything tight, our box is secured to our vehicle, and we're ready to go. more

With a Thule Aeroblade Roof Rack System assembled onto our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing our box directly onto our load bars. With the feet already hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as necessary to fit around each load bar while placing our box onto our roof rack. Well open the passenger side and tighten down the two hand knobs on this side of the box to secure our feet around our bars. With the Thule AeroBlade load bar system installed onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Thule Pulse directly onto our load bars. This box opens from one side only, so for our test fit today we'll be placing it closer to the passenger side of our vehicle for ease of access when loading and unloading our gear. Once we have it situated the way we like, we can then open the box and place our feet through the appropriate slots, making sure that the hooks go around each load bar. Once we have those in place, we can use the attached hand knobs to tighten them down. With everything tight, our box is secured to our roof rack, and we're ready to go. more

Once we have the two on this side tight, we'll close the box and take advantage of one of the great features of the Thule Force which is its ability to open from either side of your vehicle.
