Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Chevrolet Equinox- Video

Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Chevrolet Equinox

Today on our 2013 Chevy Equinox, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box, with 13 cubic feet of space in glossy black, part number TH634B. With a Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack System installed we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's load bars. After positioning the clamps to fit over the bars, we can unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the two closest knobs. We'll then turn the knobs, which will tighten down the clamps around the bars. Now this box does feature the Accu-tight mounting hardware, which will notify you when the clamps have been fully tightened, when the knob starts to click. We can then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. Now this double sided opening lid will also enable you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the car. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, I'll move to the back of the SUV, open up the rear hatch and you can see that it does not come in contact with the back of the cargo box. more

Today on our 2013 Chevy Equinox, we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Medium Rooftop Cargo Box with 14 cubic feet of space in Matte Black, part number Th614. With the Thule Rapid CrossRoad Roof Rack System installed we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's load bars. Now since this box only opens from one side, you'll need to position it on the passenger side of your roof. With the box in place, we can unlock it and open the lid exposing the four slots on the bottom of the box. We can take the clamps, slide them down through the slots over top of each bar and tighten down the clamps to secure it. Once everything all tighten down and secured, we can go ahead and move to the back of the Equinox and open up the cargo door. You can see it's not come in contact with the back of the box. more
