Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 BMW X5

Today on our 2013 BMW X5 we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box, 11 Cubic Feet in Matte Black, part number th613. With the Thule AeroBlade Roof Rack System already assembled onto our vehicle we'll begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto our load bars.Once we it have positioned where we like then we can open the box up and take our clamps and fit them through the appropriate slots making sure that the feet go around our load bars. We'll then use the hand knob on each clamp to tighten the feet. Once we've tighten all four clamps we're ready to start loading up our gear. With this particular vehicle and this cargo box we set the cargo box to as far forward towards the front of the vehicle as it would go.This gave us full access to our rear hatch without making contact with the rear of our cargo box. That completes today's test fit of the Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box, part number th613 on our 2013 BMW X5.. more

Thule Force Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 BMW X5

Today on our 2013 BMW X5 we'll be test fitting the Thule Force Medium Rooftop Cargo Box, 13 Cubic Feet in Aeroskin Black, part number th624. With the Thule AeroBlade Roof Rack System assembled onto our vehicle we'll begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto our load bars. With the feet hanging out the bottom of the box we'll go ahead and make sure that they fit around the front and rear load bar.Once we have it positioned onto our roof rack the way we prefer we can then open one side of the cargo box and use the hand knobs attached to the feet to tighten them down. One of the great features of this cargo box is its ability to open from both sides of the vehicle. Now we'll move to the other side, open it up and use the hand knobs to tighten down the feet. With everything tight and secure our box is now installed and we're ready to start loading up our gear. When accessing our rear hatch door we can open it without it making contact with our cargo box. more
