Carpod Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Nissan Pathfinder- Video
Today on our 2014 Nissan Pathfinder, we're doing a test fit of the Carpod 23x47 Walled Cargo Carrier. That part number is M2205. It's designed to work with two-inch hitches. The first thing we're going to do is take a few measurements here. Our ground clearance is going to be first. We've got about 17 inches of clearance to the bottom here. That's because we do have that raised shank, which is going to lift the carrier even higher than our hitch. more

MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Nissan Pathfinder- Video
Today on our 2014 Nissan Pathfinder, we're doing a test fit of the Maxxtow 48 by 21 cargo carrier. That part number is MT70422. Now, this has a 500-pound weight capacity and is designed to work with two-inch hitches. First thing we're going to do is take a few measurements which it's actually on our vehicle. We're going to do our ground clearance first which is going to end up about 11 1/2 inches there. Overall to our vehicle, we're going to add about 29 inches. more

Lets Go Aero Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Nissan Pathfinder- Video
Today on our 2014 Nissan Pathfinder, we're doing a test fit of the Let's Go Aero Gear Cage. It's a 48 by 32 cargo carrier with a 300-pound weight capacity and the part number for that is HCR222. The first thing we're going to do with it attached to our vehicle is take a few measurements. Our ground clearance is going to be first. Back here up under the carrier, we're going to have about 10 1/2 inches of ground clearance. Then overall to our vehicle, we are adding about 42 1/2 inches. more

Now this has a 500 pound weight capacity and it's designed to work with 2" hitches. The first thing we're going to do with it on our vehicle is take a few measurements. SportRack Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Nissan Pathfinder- Video
Today on our 2014 Nissan pathfinder we're going to be doing a test fit on the Sport Rack Vista folding cargo carrier. This is going to offer 20 by 60 as far as room goes, and a 500 pound weight capacity. It's been designed for use in 2" hitches. The part number on it is SR9851. Now we threw a hundred pounds on it here just to give you an idea of its stability. Really one of the strong points of the cargo carrier, it's supplied with an anti-rattle bolt so that's going to keep all that moving, or a lot of it anyway, a lot of that moving, that bouncing out of the equation as we're heading down the road so it gives us a nice stable ride. Let me get this weight off here. more

Today on our 2014 Nissan Pathfinder, we are going to be test fitting the 17x50 Maxxtow cargo carrier. This is designed for use with 2 inch hitches. It offers a 500 pound weight capacity. It's part number is MT70107. Now to begin our test fit we are going to slide the shank of the carrier right into the receiver tube of our hitch. To do this we are going to watch to the pin hole there to see when the hole in the shank of our carrier aligns up with it. We'll then take our standard 5/8 pin and clip combo. more

Pro Series Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Nissan Pathfinder- Video
Today on our 2014 Nissan Pathfinder we're going to be test-fitting the Pro Series Solo Cargo Carrier. This is 31 x 47. It's designed for use with 2-inch hitches, and it offers a 400-pound weight capacity. The part number is PS1040100. To begin our test fit, we need to slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. This is a bigger cargo carrier and it can be awkward for one person, so the style I've adopted of test-fitting is to let the rear rest on the ground. Place the shank into the lower portion of the receiver tube and then we're going to lift up on the rear and push in at the same time. more

Today in our 2014 Nissan Pathfinder, we're going to be test fitting the 20x47 MaxxTow Cargo Carrier. This is designed for use in two inches hitches, it offers a 500 pounds weight capacity, its part number is MT70108. Now to begin our test fit, we're going to slide the shank of the carrier right into the receiver tube of the hitch and slide it in far enough so that our pin holes will line up. We can then take our standard 5/8 pin, we'll slide that through and secure it with a clip. Now the pin and clip are sold separately, you can find them in our website, part number is PC3. At its closest point to the rear of the vehicle, the carrier is going to be about 6 inches away that offers us about 10 1/2 inches where the ground clearance. And overall we made about 28 3/4 inches to the length of the Pathfinder. more

Now to begin our test fit we're going to slide the shank of the carrier right into the receiver tube of our hitch. Now as we do we'll want to keep an eye through the pinhole in the receiver tube there to see when our threaded hole lines up with it. With that in line we'll thread in our anti-rattle bolt. more
