Today we'll be looking at the best wiring options for your 2013 Ford Fusion. Here we have our Tekonsha Wiring Harness, part number 118574. Here we have our Curt Wiring Harness, part number C56178. So this is what our wiring's going to look like when it's all installed. Both wiring harnesses are going to give you a four-pole flat, and they're going to stay inside the trunk when not in use. The nice thing about both these wiring harnesses is they both use module boxes, which is going to protect your vehicle if you have any issues on the trailer side. Today on our 2013 Ford Fusion, we're going to be taking a look at, then showing you how to to install the Tow Read T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with the 4-pole flat trailer connector. Part number is 118574. You'll see our 4-pole wire here. This is something that we'll be able to bring right over the rear of the vehicle here. You can see that nice cushion area there. That's going to provide an area for our trunk to shut. That will protect the wire. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2013 Ford Fusion C56178

Today on our 2013 Ford Fusion we'll be installing the CURT t-connector vehicle wiring harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector, part number C56178. To begin our install we'll first go ahead and open up the trunk and remove the spare tire cover. Now with the spare tire cover out of the way we'll need to remove the rear threshold. The rear threshold is held in by two push pin fasteners, one on each side. Once we remove the two fasteners we'll then pull up on the threshold and release the fasteners underneath. We'll need to gain access behind the taillight assemblies so we'll remove the two cargo hooks on each side. more
