Best 2008 Acura MDX Trailer Wiring Options- Video
Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best wiring options for our 2008 Acura MDX. Our best two options are going to come from CURT and Tekonsha. They're both going to be similar in their functions, but there are going to be some differences in them that might make one a little bit better suited for your needs.At first glance you'll notice that this one here by CURT does have a fuse, so this one will be fuse-protected, where our Tekonsha's not. It'll just have the internal module protection. The CURT also has internal module protection, but having that extra fuse is kind of nice just in case you do have a short that the module doesn't catch. It won't cause any damage to the component. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2008 Acura MDX- Video
Today our 2008 Acura MDX we'll be installing the Curt T Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Four Full Pull Flat Trailer Connector. Part number C56038. Now when we want to hook up to our trailer we just open our cover here, pull the wiring out, and let's make sure we set it to the side of the latch right here so when we close the hatch it doesn't cause any damage to the wiring. Okay, now we have wiring that is nice, easily accessible and tucked up out of the way so it's not in the elements and won't get any corrosion on it. Here's what the wiring kit consists of. We have this module converter box here that plugs into the factory tow package right here, this connector. There's a ground wire here that will with a self tapping screw to the sheet metal of the vehicle. more
