Inno Box 2020 Rooftop Cargo Box Review- Video
This right here is the Inno 2020 rooftop cargo box. So, this is gonna be for you if you haul some of those skinnier items, like a snowboard or some skis, but you also want to get some cargo in there as well. It has a decent amount of height to it, so you really get the best of both worlds. Another thing that makes this box a little bit different than some of the others is the memory mount clamps. So, that's what these are right here. Super quick and easy to get them loosened up and to take them off of your crossbars. more

This is gonna be a pretty solid roofbox if you're looking to get some stuff on the roof protected. Sometimes baskets are a really nice option if you've got taller gear, but if you've got more sensitive items, this is a really nice option to keep it out of the elements when you're going down the road. I personally, when I travel with my family, I always have a roofbox on my roof. It just frees up some space in the back of the car. more

Thule Roof Box Review - 2019 Toyota RAV4- Video
Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Thule Force XT Sport Rooftop Cargo Box, here on our 2019, Toyota RAV4. So this can be a very decent way of getting some of your gear out of your vehicle and on the top of your roof, that way starts freeing up a lot of leg room, a lot more storage item for stuff you don't really primarily want on the outside of your vehicle. This can be excellent for stuff like ski's, a little bit of coolers in there, duffle bags for sure, whatever really accessories we wanna get on here, we definitely can. Now, with 11 cu ft, still a pretty decent size here, and I like how it's not taking up too much room though with our Toyota, Rav4. So, even though it is a little high-profile, sits up a little tall, it's not over, you know, dominating our entire RAV4, here. Definitely doesn't look out of place, which I do like to see. more

Now, why I say that, you can see we have a nice, low profile design here, which is excellent. However, that can make it a pain to start getting some of your more bulky luggage in the top here. Hey, everybody welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Yakima GrandTour Lo rooftop box here on our 2017 Toyota RAV4. So this is gonna be an excellent way of helping you manage a little bit of your cargo that you wanna bring with you, and primarily, could you find yourself skiing and snowboarding, this just might be the rooftop box for you. Why is that Well, we do have some pretty nice features here with 15 cubic feet and 165 pounds of weight capacity, and boasting enough room for up to 215 centimeter long skis and snowboards, this is gonna be a great little rooftop box for you. One thing I like about it too, pretty low profile, if you're comparing this to something like the regular GrandTour you can see, not as much room going towards the top, and really maximizing the length we have here today. So, with a 91 inch long exterior length here you can see, quite large. However, it does look pretty good here on the RAV4. more

So this is an interesting cargo box in that it's not really designed as a rooftop cargo box, you can definitely see those options here at etrailer, like the Yakima CBX, where it's a lot more aerodynamic. So this is a ladder rack cargo box, a little bit different from the rooftop cargo boxes you might've seen around. You can see it's not as aerodynamic, but it has its own special features. This one is super easy to take off and carry into your camp site. Then you have the hard shell tote to keep it on top of your vehicle when you're driving. more

We'll take a look at the large one, which is the 18, right here, on our 2021 Toyota Tacoma. So this is a rooftop cargo box, but as you can see, we have it here on our ladder rack, on our Toyota Tacoma. So this is the Yakima OverHaul HD, and we have the extra large HD bars. So I was really curious about, was it gonna fit on our ladder rack How much space do we have around it Will it fit around our larger bars So we're gonna take a look in this test fit at the answers to all those questions and just see how it works and interacts with other things on there too. more

Obviously leaving us a ton of room here in the bed of our truck and freeing up a lot of that room inside of our cab, making our trips that much nicer for ourselves. What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima CBX Solar Rooftop Cargo Box on our 2017 Toyota RAV4. Well, as you can see, we have a pretty large solar panel on top of the box. It's about 38 1/2 inches long by 14 inches wide, and it's gonna put out five volts. So to put that into perspective, a lotta your phone chargers, your iPad chargers, and your GoPro chargers, they all run off of five volts, and we are gonna have a decent amount of amperages going out. This rooftop cargo box has a weight capacity of 110 pounds and 13 cubic feet of cargo space. So this is awesome if you need an extra storage space for bringing your gear like your skis or your snowboards or even just your luggage for when you want to go out and have a great adventure. This has a safety lock system, so one, you can lock it in place so no one can steal the contents of your box. Also, though, if you have it unlocked you can't remove the keys. more

Right away when you look at it, you see it's different from other rooftop boxes. With these prop rods, it gives you three points of access, so you can throw things in from either side of your vehicle, or just straight up from the back. That means if you're in a tight parking spot, and there's a car right next to you, and you can't quite load up, or you're worried about unloading it, you can just go to the other side. And if you're parked on both sides, then you can go from the back here.Now, you are going to need a crossbar space of 22 inches for it to attach properly. more

It's going to be a really nice, easy to use cargo box. I like that it's a more cost effective option, if you're looking to get a little bit more protection on top of your roof, versus something like a cargo basket, or a hitch-mounted cargo carrier. But it's going to lack a few features of some of the higher end ones, but I was actually pleasantly surprised when I took this one out. And today we have a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, and we've gone ahead and thrown on here, a roof rack, and we've loaded up the Inno Shadow 16 rooftop cargo box, just to do a test fit of it, check how it's going to interact with your Jeep. Now, this is a cargo box. Like I said, it mounts to your roof rack. It gives you an enclosed space on top of your Jeep to get extra cargo and other luggage loaded up and away from the elements, because your cargo area might be loaded with all the other stuff that you want to take on your trip. Instead of having to cram it in the back seat, where your passengers might be and taking up their elbow and leg room, you can get them in the box, protected from the rain and the sun, and then you can unload it when you get to your destination.Now, the box has a really nice aerodynamic shape. more

It's going to be a great option to get some excess cargo and other luggage loaded up for a longer road trip we might partake in. Malone Roof Box Review - 2019 Chevrolet Suburban- Video
Adam: Hi everyone, Adam with etrailer.com, today we're going to be taking a look at the Malone Cargo12 Rooftop Cargo Box on our 2019 Chevrolet Suburban. So this cargo box is going to be ideal for getting any type of sporting equipment or luggage for around two people. It does have 12 cubic feet of space, so it's going to be ideal for those rather larger items. And it does open up on the passenger side, and the reason for that is. Just imagine if you're going on vacation and you pull over to the side of the highway, your driver's side is going to be next to vehicles going about 65 miles an hour, so having it open up on the passenger side is for your guys' safety, and that's definitely something I am very happy about.So just so you guys know, I did get the skis in here. It is at the deepest part of the cargo box, and it is a very snug fit. more

Car Top Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2018 Buick Encore- Video
Adam: Hi, everybody, Adam with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the car top cargo box on our 2018 Buick Encore. So this is going to be really, really helpful when you're going on those long trips and you have a lot of people in your vehicle. You want to get as much stuff outside of your vehicle and going with you on the trip as possible, just to keep your passengers nice and comfortable. So with 18 cubic feet, it's going to be really good to fit a decent amount of duffel bags, a couple of book bags, probably won't fit a golf bag or anything like that, skis and snowboards, probably not, but a lot of cargo, like I said, duffle bags, book bags, at any other small carry on items that you might have.So one thing I noticed whenever I was using a cargo box, a lot of them do open up just from one side. This one really isn't fixed whatsoever. more
