Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2005 Ford E-Series van. When looking for a hitch on our website, you'll find that these are the three most popular hitches. On top here we have our CURT class 4, part number 14055. The second, we have our Draw-Tite class 3, which is part number 75703. Here we have our CURT class 3, which is going to be part number 13053. Now one of the main things you're going to notice at first is the design, where the CURT has a square tube and the Draw-Tite is a round tube design. Today, on our 2005 Ford Van, we'll be installing the Curt Hitch part number 14055. This is what our hitch will look like once it's installed. Next, we'll go ahead and give you a couple of measurements to assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost edge of the bumper is five inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 18 inches. This will assist you in selecting accessories such as a draw bar, a bike rack, or a cargo carrier. more
