Hey, everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2016 Chevy Traverse, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver. But before we get to that, why don't we just take a minute, check this out, and make sure it's the right hitch for you. So first things first, before we even really start looking into hitches, make sure you don't have 'em there from the factory. And I know that sounds kind of silly, but we do see it happening. These Traverses have a removable panel right here, and there's usually two little fasteners you can undo and pop this down. more

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to be taking a look at and showing how to install the etrailer.com Class 3 2" trailer hitch receiver.One of my favorite things about this hitch is that, when you're not using it, you can actually put this cover back on and make it disappear. This is going to give you that peace of mind knowing that you're not going to have to sacrifice the look of your vehicle just to get the functionality out of your hitch. But when you do need it, you can simply remove it, and then you're going to be able to use it to tow trailers or use it for accessories like a bike rack or a cargo carrier.The hitch is going to give us some pretty good weight capacities. As far as the maximum gross trailer weight rating, that's going to be 5,000 pounds, the amount of weight's that's going to be pulling on our hitch. more

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Traverse we're going to take a look at, and also show you how to install, the Curt Custom-fit Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver. This offers a two inch by two inch opening. It's part number is 13424. Here's what our hitch is going to look like after it's installed. As you can see, it's going to be 100% hidden, completely gone. When it's time for use we can turn our tabs here and just pop down our cover. more
