Thule Archway Trunk Mount Bike Rack Review - 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan- Video
Today on our 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan well be test fitting the Thule Archway trunk mounted two bike rack part #: TH9009XT. Keep in mind when using this bike rack, the rear windshield wiper may not be used. With the fit dial set to number 11 according to the included instructions well begin our test fit by placing the bike rack up onto the vehicles rear hatch. Well place the bottom portion of the bike rack on the upper tier of the rear bumper and the top portion of the bike rack at about the center of the rear window. With the bike rack in position we can take the top clips and hook it to the top part of the rear hatch. Well take the side clips to the side part of the rear hatch and the bottom clips to the bottom part of the rear hatch. more

Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top Bike Rack Review - 2014 Dodge Caravan- Video
Today on our 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top Trunk Mounted 2 Bike Rack for vehicles with spoilers part number HRF2. We'll begin our test fit by placing the bike rack up on to the vehicle's rear hatch. Now there are three sets of black levers, we'll first start with the middle set of black levers to adjust the fit to rear door we'll then clamp it down in position and then using the top set of black levers we can adjust the top portion of the bike rack making sure the silver bar is high enough over the spoiler. We'll then clamp the black levers down to secure it in place. We'll now go ahead and put the top clips to the top portion of the cargo door, the side clips to the side portion of the cargo door and the bottom clips to the bottom portion of the cargo door. We can thentighten down the straps to secure the bike rack to the vehicle. Once all the straps have been tighten down we can then secure the excess slack. more

Today, on our 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan, we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Gordo trunk-mounted 2-bike rack for bicycles with long wheelbases, part number HRG2. Keep in mind when using this bike rack, the windshield wiper may not be used. We'll begin our test fit by placing the bike rack up onto the vehicle's rear hatch. We'll flip out the two black plastic levers on the left- and right-hand side of the carrier to adjust the bike rack to fit the vehicle's rear hatch. We'll then put the top clips to the top part of the hatch, the side clips to the side part of the hatch, and the bottom clips to the bottom part of the hatch. We then can tighten down the straps to secure the bike rack to the vehicle. more

Today, on our 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan, we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Baja trunk-mounted 2-bike rack, part number HRB2. Keep in mind when using this bike rack, the rear windshield wiper may not be used. We'll begin our test fit by placing the bike rack up onto the vehicle's rear hatch. We'll put the bottom portion on the rear hatch just below the license plate, and we can then flip out the black plastic levers on the left- and right-hand side of the carrier to adjust the top portion to fit the rear hatch. We'll now loosen up the straps to put the top clips on the top part of the hatch, the side clips to the side part of the hatch, and the bottom clips to the bottom part of the hatch. We can then tighten down the straps to secure the bike rack to the vehicle. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, we'll go ahead and secure the excess slack. more

Thule Passage Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2012 Honda Civic- Video
Today on our 2012 Honda Civic, we'll be test fitting the Thule Passage 2 Bike Carrier, part number TH910XT. To begin, we'll need to refer to the instructions or to the Thule Fit Guide to see what number our dial needs to be set at. In this case, our dial's going to be set at 7. We'll go ahead and place the carrier onto the trunk of our Honda Civic. We want to make sure that the lower arm of our carrier is sitting in the bottom of the license plate well. Now, we'll go ahead and put the top hooks in the top part of the trunk, the side hooks in the side, and the bottom hooks in the bottom. Once we have it situated, we can then make our way back around and tighten down each strap firmly. We'll go ahead and undo the cradle straps to expose our cradles, place our bike onto our frame cradles, and secure it by tightening down each strap. With that done, our bike is all loaded up, and we're ready to hit the road. That completes today's test fit of the Thule Passage 2 Bike Carrier, part number TH910XT, on our 2012 Honda Civic. more

We'll go ahead and place our carrier onto our vehicle. We need to make sure that the lower part of our carrier sits on the lower tier of our license plate frame. We'll go ahead and place our hooks into position putting the top hooks at the top part of the trunk, the bottom hooks at the bottom, and the side hooks to the side, and then make our way around tightening down each one. We'll pull the levers here at the side of the carrier to swing out our dual arms. more

We want to make sure that these arms are level or slightly inclined. Once we have them in place, we'll push the outside levers back down to lock our arms into position. more

Thule Gateway Trunk Mount Bike Rack Review - 2010 Volkswagen Golf- Video
Today on our 2010 Volkswagen Golf we'll be test fitting the Thule Gateway 2 Bike Rack, part number THN006XT. Please be aware that with this bike rack installed you'll be unable to use your rear wiper. To begin our test fit we'll go ahead and move our rack towards the rear end of our vehicle. We'll want to set our dial to fit #8. We can do this by clamping the levers on the ends and raising up on our upper bar. The lower arm of our bike rack should be resting on the upper tier of our bumper. We'll place the top clips in the gap at the front edge of the top of the hatch and we'll place the side clips on the side of our rear hatch underneath our tail lights. more

Today on our 2010 Volkswagen Golf, we'll be tested in the Tule Archway two-bike rack, part number th9009 XT. We'll begin our test fit by placing our archway on the rear of our vehicle. We need to make sure that our dial is set at number 8, and that the lower arm of our bike rack sits on the upper tier of our bumper. The upper arm has bumper pads on it that will rest on the window of our rear hatch. We'll take our top clips and slide them into the gap at the top of our rear hatch. We'll take our lower clips and set them at the very base of our rear hatch door. more

Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top Bike Rack Review - 2014 Dodge Journey- Video
Today on our 2014 Dodge Journey well be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Over the Top Trunk-Mounted Two Bike Carrier for vehicles and spoilers, part number HRF2. Well begin our test fit by placing the bike rack up onto the vehicles rear bumper. The bottom portion of the bike rack should rest on the upper tier of the rear bumper. We can then use the middle set of black levers to adjust to fit the middle of the arms which will rest on the vehicles rear window.When you position the arm on the rear window you want to leave enough space between the rear window and the bike rack so that the cradle arms can swing out without coming in contact with the window.Once youve established this position you can lock down the black plastic levers. If need be you can use the top set of black levers to adjust to fit the overhanging part of the bike rack whereas the top two straps will help connect to the rear hatch.With this done you can then lock them in place. Well then take the top two straps to go over the top portion of the rear hatch. Well then take the side straps to go on the side of the rear hatch down here on the corner and the bottom two straps to go on the bottom portion of the hatch.Well then tighten down the straps to secure the carrier to the vehicle. more

Hollywood Racks Expedition Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2014 Dodge Journey- Video
Today on our 2014 Dodge Journey, we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Expedition Trunk Mounted 2-Bike Rack, part number HRF6-2. We'll begin our test fit by placing the bike rack up on the vehicle's rear bumper. The bottom pads of the bike rack should rest on the upper tier of the bumper. We can then use the top two black levers to adjust the fit of the top of the bike rack up on the rear window of the vehicle. When figuring out this position, you're going to want to leave enough space so the cradle arms can swing out to a level or slightly angle the position. If you have the bike rack up too close to the vehicle's rear hatch this will prevent you from bringing the cradle arms out. We can then snap the black plastic levers in place, securing our bike rack and position. more

Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top Bike Rack Review - 2013 Toyota RAV4- Video
Today on our 2013 Toyota Rav 4, we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top trunk-mounted 2-bike carrier for vehicles with spoilers, part number HRF2. Now we'll begin our test fit by placing the bike rack on the vehicle's rear bumper. Now we already went ahead and flipped out the black levers, which will allow us to adjust to fit the bike rack to the vehicle. We'll loosen up the knobs, which will allow us to bring out the small and large bars of the bike rack. The smaller one of the two bars will rest on the rear hatch of the vehicle, and the larger bar will act as a support once the top straps will come up and hook into the roof of the vehicle. Once we've established this position, we can lock down the black plastic levers and tighten down the knobs to secure it in place. more

Thule Raceway Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2013 Hyundai Accent- Video
Today on our 2013 Hyundai Accent 4-door Sedan well be test fitting the Thule Raceway 2 Bike Carrier part number TH9001. To fit this trunk carrier to our vehicle we need to set our fid dial setting at number seven so that we have the proper spread of the carriers arms. Well position the rack on top of the vehicles trunk lid. Well secure the clips with the top cables at the top edge of our trunk door. Well secure the bottom cables on the bottom edge of our trunk lid and we need to make sure that the bottom arms are resting on the upper tier of the bumper. With everything in position well use the ratcheting knobs on the ends of the carrier to tighten down our cables. more

After getting our fit dial, which in this case is nine, we'll set the carrier on to our vehicle.We'll go ahead and put the top hooks to the top part of the cargo door above the spoiler. The bottom hooks to the bottom part of the trunk and the side hooks to the side part of the trunk, just a little bit above the taillights. You may need to open up the cargo door to position the bottom hooks in place. Hollywood Racks Baja 2 Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2013 Dodge Dart- Video
Today, on our 2013 Dodge Dart, we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Baja trunk-mounted two bike carrier, part number HRB2. Now, to begin our test-fit, we'll simply place the carrier onto the vehicle's trunk. When you place the carrier onto the vehicle's trunk, you will need to position the carrier so the cradle arms will be parallel to the ground or slightly angled up.Luckily, when we set our carrier onto the vehicle, the carrier was already adjusted. We'll now put the top straps to the top part of the trunk, the side straps to the side part of the trunk, and the bottom straps to the bottom part of the trunk. Note there is no specific order in which the straps need to be attached to the vehicle.You may need to open up your trunk to get the side hooks into position. We'll then tighten on the straps to secure the Hollywood Racks Baja to our Dodge Dart. more

Today, on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra, well be test fitting the Thule Raceway, Two-Bike Carrier, Part Number TH9001. Before we begin our test fit, we need to refer to the instructions or to the Thule fit guide. We need to find out what our dial needs to be set on. In this case, it needs to be set on dial seven.Once we have our dial set, we can then go ahead and place the carrier on to our trunk. Before we begin the test fit, we need to check the instructions or the Thule fit guide to determine where our fit dial should be set at. For this vehicle we have the dial set at dial number 7. We'll go ahead and set the carrier onto the trunk, and put the top hooks to the top of the trunk. We want to make sure that the lower part of our bike rack is sitting on the upper tier of our bumper. We'll then set the side hooks to the side of the trunk below the tail lights, and the bottom hooks to the bottom of the trunk. more

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra well be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Expedition 2-Bike Carrier, part number hrf6-2. To begin our test fit well place the carrier onto the trunk of our vehicle. We want to make sure that the lower part of our carrier is on the upper tier of our bumper. At the top of the carrier, the bike has a high pitch which is ideal for being able to go over a spoiler. Once we have that set, we can go ahead and set our hooks in place. Well set the top hooks at the top part of the trunk, the side hooks at the sides just below the taillights, and the bottom hooks at the base of the trunk. more

Yakima QuickBack 2 Bike Rack Review - 2012 Ford Fusion- Video
Today on our 2012 Ford Fusion we're going to be test fitting the Yakima QuickBack 2 Trunk Mounted Bike Rack, part number y02621. To begin our test fit we'll go ahead and place the carrier on top of our trunk. We'll put the top hooks at the top part of the trunk, the side hooks to the side and the bottom hooks to the bottom part of the trunk.We'll tighten up all the straps and then we'll be ready to load our bike. To load our bike we'll open up the arms and make them level with the ground or slightly inclined. We'll go ahead and undo the cradle straps, fit our bike into the cradles and secure our bike to the rack by tightening each strap.Once we've done that our bike is all loaded up and we're ready to hit the road. Today on our 2012 Ford Fusion we'll be test fitting the Thule Raceway Trunk Mounted Two Bike Carrier, part number th9001. Now to begin our test fit we're first going to set the FitDial on our carrier. We'll set the FitDial to number eight as it stated in the instructions and place the carrier onto the vehicle's trunk. We'll put the top hooks to the top part of the trunk and the bottom hooks to the bottom part of the trunk.Note that you may to need to open up your trunk to get your hooks into position. We'll then turn the gray knobs on the left and right hand side of the carrier to tighten down the straps securing the carrier to the vehicle. We'll then flip out the gray lever at the center of the carrier to swing the cradle arms out. more

Thule Archway Trunk Mount Bike Rack Review - 2012 Ford Fusion- Video
Today on our 2012 Ford Fusion we'll be test fitting the Thule Archway Two Bike Carrier with Adjustable Arms, part number th9009xt. To begin our test fit we need to look in the instructions and to Thule's Fit Guide where we see that our FitDial needs to be set to eight. Once we have that set we'll go ahead and place our carrier on top of our trunk. We need to make sure that the lower arm of our carrier is positioned on the upper tier of the bumper.Then we need to place the top clips in the gap at the front edge of the top of the trunk. We'll place the lower clips in the bottom edge of the trunk and then we'll fit our side clips to the sides of the trunk. Once we have our clips in place and snugged down then we can go ahead and make our way around and secure each one until they're all tight. more

Today, on our 2012 Ford Fusion, well be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Gordo 2-Bike Carrier for Long Wheelbase Bicycles, Part Number HRG2. Well begin our test fit, by placing the carrier on top of our trunk. As we adjust the top part of our carrier, the arms of our carrier move as well. We want to make sure that our arms are either straight out or slightly angled up and then now, well give us the correct location for the top part of our carrier.Once we have that set, we can go ahead and lock the side clips into place. Well go ahead and take the top hooks and secure them to the part of the trunk. Well take the side hooks, put them on the side of our trunk and take the bottom hooks, and put them on the bottom of our trunk. more

Thule Passage Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2012 Jeep Liberty- Video
Today on our 2012 Jeep Liberty well be test fitting the Thule Passage two bike carrier part #: TH910XT. To begin our test fit well place the bike rack up against our cargo door and adjust it as necessary. The fit guide for this vehicle does say to set the fit dial to 11. With that done well go ahead and place the bike rack against the door and bring the two top straps up and hook them to the cargo door just behind the roof here on the roof line. Well then take the remaining four straps and hook one side of the strap to the side of the cargo door, here just above the taillight, and the other side to the cargo door just above the rear bumper fascia. Well then move around the bike rack, tightening up the straps, securing our bike rack to the vehicle. more

Hollywood Racks Expedition Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2012 Jeep Liberty- Video
Today, on our 2012 Jeep Liberty, we'll be test-fitting the Hollywood Racks Expedition, two-bike carrier trunk mount, part number hrf6-2. Now, to begin our test-fit, we'll go ahead and place the trunk mount bike rack against the cargo door. We'll then take the two top hooks, and hook them to the cargo door here at the roof line, just behind the roof. Now, with those two straps in place, we can then work around the other remaining four straps, and hook them to the cargo door. The two side straps will hook to the cargo door, just above the tail lights, and the two lower straps will hook to the cargo door just above the bumper fascia.Now, with all six straps in place, we can go ahead and work around tightening each of the straps evenly to make sure that out bike rack is secured and centered with the vehicle. Now, we've already gone ahead and made sure that we left enough room to swing out our dual arms. more

Today on our 2012 Jeep Liberty, we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Baja 2-bike carrier trunk mount, part number HRB2. Now to begin our test fit, we'll place our bike rack up against our cargo door, allowing it to rest on the bumper fascia. We'll then take the two top hooks and hook them to the top of the cargo door here just behind the roof. With the two top hooks in place, we can then work around for the remaining four hooks, hooking them to the side of the cargo door here just above the taillight, and to the bottom of the door just above the bumper fascia. With all six hooks in place, we'll work our way around, tightening down the straps in an even pattern to secure the bike rack to the vehicle. With our bike rack secure, we'll now go ahead and fold up the remaining strap, to give us a nice, clean look. more

Today on our 2009 Nissan Ultima, well be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Baja Two Bike Carrier Trunk Mount, part number HRB2. Now to begin our test fit, well set the carrier on top of the trunk and if necessary use the black levers located at each end of the carrier to adjust the jaws to allow a better fit onto the vehicle. Once you have established the correct fit, you can use the top two hooks to hook to the top of the trunk, the two side hooks to hook to the side and the two low hooks to hook to the bottom of trunk. It may be necessary as well to open up the trunk just enough to get the hooks in the bottom. Once you have all the straps in place we can go ahead and secure the carrier to the vehicle by tightening down each strap and securing the access slack. Once it is secured the vehicle, were ready to go ahead and grab our bike and load it up. Well undo the cradle straps, set the bike into the frame cradles and secure it with the straps. That completes todays test fit for the Hollywood Racks Baja Two Bike Carrier, part number HRB2 on our 2009 Nissan Ultima. more
