What's going on everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today, we have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and we're gonna be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack Backbone roof rack system. Well, for our Backbone system, it is gonna give us two different options. We can do one, which is just putting the Vortex Aero cross bars up on top here. But also, if you are a platform-style fan, you can get a Pioneer platform rack up on top of these as well. And the really good thing about this is it really gives you more bar space. more

Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we're going to be test-fitting the Yakima RoundBar Roof Rack System. And this is going to consist of part numbers Y00410, this is going to be the 66" crossbars, and part number Y00101, and these are going to be the rain gutter towers that attach to your Jeep. The RoundBar Roof Rack System is a pretty decent roof rack system that can carry a wide variety of accessories, such as bike racks, cargo baskets, or cargo boxes on top of your Jeep, and freeing up space on the inside. While these bars are particularly sturdy, they are going to produce some noise while you drive. We do offer fairings that you can find on etrailer.com to help cut down that wind noise and drag as well.With the towers themselves, they simply clamp onto your existing rain gutters here and tighten down in place with these knobs here. At the ends, we do have this plastic knock out that can be taken out and replaced with the Yakima SKS Lock Cores so you can secure this to your roof but also make it keyed alike with the accessories you're hauling as well. more
