Hey everyone. How's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the EcoHitch Stealth trailer hitch receiver here on our 2014 Toyota Prius V. And I do like the looks of it. It has a hidden design meaning the cross tube is actually tucked up behind the bumper here. And the only thing we actually can see is the receiver tube. That's also gonna have a nice hammered powder coated finish which is gonna help with blending with the vehicle well, that also helps protect the hitch from rest over time being that it is on the underside of the vehicle. more

Today on our 2017 Toyota Prius V, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the EcoHitch Class III Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver. So here's what our hitch is gonna look like once we have it installed. Now you can see it's gonna have a really nice, clean appearance to it, because the cross tube is gonna be completely hidden behind the bumper, and all we're gonna see is the receiver tube opening. Now, our EcoHitch is gonna give us a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which is gonna have the most variety of options when it comes to accessories. The way we're gonna mount any of those accessories to the hitch pin hole here on the side. Now the hitch is gonna accept a standard 5/8 pin and clip. more

Now the first thing that you'll notice about this hitch, which really sets it apart from others in the market, is that it's a Class III with a 2x2 inch receiver. This makes it the most versatile hitch when it comes to the Prius V for using a bike racks and cargo carriers. Today on our 2017 Toyota Prius V, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CURT Class 1 Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver. Here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. You're going to see the cross tube, it's going to sit right below the bumper, but it is set back at an angle, so the main thing we're going to see is the receiver tube right here. It is a Class 1 hitch, means it's going to give us an 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" receiver tube opening, which would be great for bike racks and some smaller cargo carriers.The way we're going to mount any of our accessories to our hitch is going to be through the hitch pin hole here on the side. It's going to accept a standard half-inch pin and clip, these are not included in the kit, but you can pick them up here at etrailer.com, along with some locking devices to make sure your accessories are secure. If you're going to be doing any light-duty towing, keep in mind that there is a specific drawbar made for our hitch, and you can find it here at etrailer.com.You'll notice that the safety chain connection points are going to be a plate-style welded to the bottom of the receiver tube. more

Today on our 2017 Toyota Prius V we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, the Draw Tite Class 1 Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver.Here's what our hitch looks like once we have it installed. The cross-tube is going to be visible. It's going to sit right down below the bumper, but it kind of goes back at an angle so it's not as noticeable. Our hitch is going to offer us an inch and a quarter, by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. This will be great for bike racks, some smaller cargo carriers, or if you're going to do some light duty towing.The way we're going to mount any of our accessories is to the hitch pin hole here on the side. It is going to accept the standard 1/2" pin and clip. more

Here's what our hitch looks like installed. Now one of the first things you'll notice about this hitch is that it's completely hidden behind our fascia. The only part that you'll see is the receiver itself, hanging down.On the side of our receiver, you'll find our industry standard half inch diameter hitch pinhole, to secure your hitch mounted accessories. You can pick up a pin and clip separately on our website, that's part number PC2.Welded on the bottom of our receiver are rolled steel safety chain loops. And what's nice about these, is that even if you have a large diameter safety chain hook, such as this one on your trailer, you'll still be able to hook on and clip it off, very easily.This hitch features a 200 pound max ton weight rating, which is the amount forcing down. more

First thing you notice about this hitch, is that we have plenty of clearance around the receiver, which makes this a great hitch to use with bike racks and cargo carriers. One thing that I really like about this hitch, is that when you're standing behind the vehicle, you really can't see it. The only part that's visible is the receiver itself.On the side of our receiver, you'll find our industry standard half inch diameter hitch pin hole, that you can use a separate pen and clip, available on our website, to secure your hitch mounted accessories. On the end of our receiver, you find this nice collar that's welded on. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Toyota Prius V - Curt

Today on this 2014 Toyota Prius V, we're going to install part number C11276 from Curt. This is the Curt class 1 1 1/4 receive hitch. This is wht the hitch looks like once installed on the Prius. Next we'll go ahead and give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories, such as a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 12 inches. From center hitch pinhole to the outside edge of the bumper is about 4 3/8 inches. Now we'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. First thing we need to do is get our vehicle ready to install the hitch. more
