EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2022 Tesla Model S- Video
Hey guys, this is Shay here with etrailer. Today we have a 2022 Tesla Model S and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Torklift EcoHitch 2 inch hitch receiver. Adding a 2 inch hitch receiver to the back of your Tesla is gonna allow you to haul a couple of different things. You can use it for bike racks, which is what the owner of this vehicle is using it for. You can use it for cargo carriers. If you don't have a whole lot of space left over in the back of your car, you can always slap a cargo carrier on here and haul some additional gear or luggage on the back of that. more

But before we do that, why don't we check this out and make sure that this is gonna be the hitch that's right for your Tesla Right off the bat, one of the really unique things about this particular hitch is the fact that the receiver tube here is actually removable. EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Tesla Model S- Video
Today, on our 2017 Tesla Model S, we're gonna be installing EcoHitch's two-inch trailer hitch receiver. Part number 306-X7201. And this is what our hitch is gonna look like when it's installed. You're only gonna be able to see the receiver tube sticking out of the back, as the rest of it is completely hidden behind the bumper. This is a two-inch by two-inch hitch receiver, so it's gonna be great for all of your towing needs. From trailers, to bike racks, to cargo carriers, it'll do just about whatever you need. more

These are going to be the three hitch options, here on top. We're going to have an EcoHitch, here in the middle, we also have an EcoHitch and here on the bottom, we have a Draw-Tite. First thing right off the bat you're going to notice, is that our EcoHitch on the top, it has a 2x2 inch receiver tube opening, where the other two are only going to have an 1-1/4 inch. My professional opinion, I'd go with EcoHitch with the 2x2 inch receiver tube opening, because it's going to give you a lot more options for hitch mount accessories.Now, with the Tesla, it's a very aerodynamic car and we want to keep it that way. more
