Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Nissan Titan- Video

Today in our 2014 Nissan Titan, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class III custom fit trailer hitch receiver, part number 13199. So here's what our hitch looks like once we have it installed. It's going to sit right below the bumper, and it's going to be pretty even to being flushed with it as well. It's a Class III hitch, which means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. We're going to have a really wide variety of options for accessories that we can mount up.And the way we're going to mount all those accessories, is through the hitch pin hole here on the side and it is going to accept a standard 5/8 pin and clip. Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Nissan Titan we're going to be installing the Draw-Tite Class III Two Inch Receiver Hitch, part number 76154. This is what our hitch is going to look like installed on the vehicle. As you can see, the cross tube is mostly tucked up under the bumper. It's only visible when you duck down low to see it. Then you'll be able to see the receiver tube here at the end. Now here's what our hitch looks like installed. Now what's great about this hitch is it sits nice and tight up against our bumper and doesn't stick out past it. So what's that's going to allow us to do is give us the optimal ground clearance underneath the hitch and make it so we're not adding extra length to our vehicle, so you don't have to worry about close maneuver parking situations.On the side of our receiver you'll find our industry standard 5/8" standard hitch pin hole to secure any of our hitch mounted accessories. Now what's great about this hitch is that it's tucked up nice and tight up against our bumper, so it doesn't stick out past it and we have optimal ground clearance because it is right up against it. Part number C13304.This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. You can see the cross tube is visible. However, with the round tube design it does fit with the contour of the bumper. As you can see, the hitch does sit nice and tucked in underneath the bumper, so you're not going to have to worry about hitting your legs or your shins on it when loading and unloading the vehicle.
