Hi there Hyundai owners. Today, on your 2017 Hyundai Accent, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install CURT's 1 1/4 inch trailer hitch receiver. And this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. The cross tube is gonna be visible, but the whole entirety of the hitch is tucked up so far up underneath the bumper, unless you're really getting down on your knees, you're really not even gonna notice that it's there. The receiver tube is also tucked up pretty far underneath the bumper. It's a 1 1/4 by 1 1/4 inch receiver, so it's gonna be great for light duty applications. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2012 Hyundai Accent - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on this 2012 Hyundai Accent we're going to show you part number 24884. This is the Draw-Tite sports frame 1-1/4" class one receiver hitch. Now we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories such as a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 10". From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outside edge of the bumper will be about 3". First off, this is the 1-1/4" receiver hitch rated for 2,000 pounds towing or 200 pounds tongue weight. On the bottom here we have our safety chain loops. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Hyundai Accent - Curt- Video
Today, on our 2013 Hyundai Accent, we'll be installing the Curt hitch, part number C11250. This is what our hitch will look like once it's installed. Next, we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements to assist you selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is four inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is ten and a half inches. This will assist you selecting accessories such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. Now, we'll go ahead with the installation. Now, to begin our install, we'll first remove the rubber plugs from the frame rails, one on each side. We'll go ahead and set the plugs aside, as they will not be reinstalled; noting that these will be two of the four attachment points. The third attachment point will be the tow hook and our fourth attachment point will be on the driver's side frame rail, forward of the frame from the previous attachment point. more
