Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for the 2012 Honda Fit. Our most popular is going to be the Draw-Tite Class One, that part number is 24826. We'll follow that up with the Curt Class One, part number C11064. Now, you'll see there's quite a bit of a difference here in the design of our hitches overall. The Curt has a couple of arms that are going to come up on each side to a single connection point, then there's a plate that's going to run underneath the vehicle and it offers two more connection points underneath the spare tire well in the back of the car. Now, the Draw-Tite's going to use already existing holes. We're going to have two on each side that mount in. However, you'll see the Draw-Tite, with this large bend, this is made to go around. more

Today on our 2012 Honda Fit, we'll be installing the Draw-Tite hitch, part number 24826. This is what our hitch looks like now that it is installed. Here are a few measurements to help you choose some accessories, such as a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the ground to the top of the opening on the hitch is approximately 10". From the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper is approximately 3". Now we'll go ahead with the install. more

Today, on this 2012 Honda Fit, we are going to install part number 11064 from Curt. This is what the hitch looks like once installed on a car. Next, we'll go ahead and give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories such as a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outside edge of the bumper is going to be three-and-a-quarter inches. From top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be nine-and-a-half inches. We'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. more
