etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2021 Ford Transit T350- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the Etrailer trailer hitch receiver on a 2021 Ford Transit T350. Now, this is how your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Transit, and it is an exposed cross tube, meaning you can see pretty much the entire majority of the hitch. But this is, you know, with a van like this, it's definitely gonna be used for a utility more than likely and you're not really going for that aesthetic look. But going along with looks, this is a matte black powder coat finish, which matches really well to the plastics. It also holds up against chips and corrosion long term. Now, this hitch in particular is two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, and that's gonna be great when choosing ball mounts, bike racks or cargo carriers, 'cause it's kind of the most common size and there's tons of accessories available. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Ford Transit T350- Video
Today we have a 2019 Ford Transit T-350 and we're gonna be taking a look at the Curt 2-inch Class 3 Hitch Receiver. A 2-inch Hit Receiver is very useful. If you're one that is using it for towing I would definitely recommend looking at some of our wiring kits for four pole or seven pole just to get the electric back to your trailer. So all your lights and functions work. Also with you sports and rec people out there with this you have a lot of passengers inside so it'd be nice to get some more cargo space out here because the roof is kind of tall. Roof rack is gonna be a little bit more difficult to do but you can use that for that. more

Something to think about, if you are gonna use this for towing you need to put your vehicle in the fit guide on our website to grab a wiring kit for either a four pole or a seven pole. That's gonna just deliver the power to your trailer so all your lights and functions work. If you are hauling some heavier type of trailers that have electric brakes also take a look at some of the brake controllers we have for your Ford Transit. 'Cause that's going to save your brakes of your Transit and utilize the brakes on your trailer to slow you down. If you're planning on using this hitch receiver for more recreational stuff like a cargo carrier or a bike rack this is gonna be a great option because it is a Class III. more

Today on our 2016 Ford Transit 350, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the etrailer.com Class III trailer hitch receiver. This hitch is going to function great for recreational purposes such as using it to carry bike racks, and it's also going to be a great choice for towing. A lot of these vans are also used to haul a lot of people, and when you have a lot of people in a van, you're going to have limited storage space. With this in place, you can now put a cargo carrier on the back and haul all your gear or equipment that way.If you're primarily going to be using this hitch for towing, something you might be interested in is some trailer wiring, that way your trailer has all the proper lighting functions. If your trailer happens to have electric brakes, something else that might interest you would be an ETBC7 and a brake controller. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Ford Transit T350 - Curt- Video
Today on our 2016 Ford Transit T350, we're going to be taking a look at and also showing you how to install the Curt Class Three Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number: C13193. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed on our T350. As you can see it gives us a nice look here in the back of the vehicle. It's inset of our bumper just slightly, we're not going to have to worry about bumping into it or anything like that. It's going to provide us, since it is a Class Three hitch, with opportunities to use just about any hitch accessory that's available out there in the market; it's probably going to come in a Class Three variety. You'll see we've got plate-style safety chain connection points around the bottom side here. Plenty large enough hole for whatever connection type you might be making or whatever chain type you might have. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Ford Transit T350 - Curt- Video
Today on our 2015 Ford Transit 350 we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Curt Custom Fit Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver. This offers the 2 inch by 2 inch opening, its part number is C13193. All right, heres what our hitch looks like installed on the vehicle. As you can see its going to be a nice clean looking hitch, tube runs across right into the side plates and then we've got our receiver tube opening thats going to come out here at the back. Its got the flush reinforcement collar here at the end thats wrapped around our 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening. Inside we're going to have our 5/8ths diameter pinhole, thats going to work out great for regular pins and clips, locking hitch pins, anti-rattle devices, it looks like were going to have plenty of room on each side there. more
