Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe- Video
Speaker 1: Today, on our 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're going to be taking a look at showing you how to install the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 trailer brake controller, part number 90195. To help with inaudible 00:00:12 installation, we're going to be using the universal installation kit for trailer break controllers, part number ETBC7.So, here's what our P3's going to look like once it's installed. Now, this is going to be a proportional brake controller, which means it's going to apply the brakes to our trailer in the same intensity, and time that apply them in our towed vehicle. So, if we ease in to a stop, our trailer brakes are going to come on very light. But if we come to a panicked stop, our trailer brakes are going to apply just as quickly as we apply them in our car. Our P3s going to be able to handle trailers anywhere from one all the way up to four axles. more
