Thule MOAB Roof Top Cargo Basket Review - 2014 Dodge Avenger- Video
Today, on our 2014 Dodge Avenger, we're going to test fitting the Thule Moab, the mother of all baskets rooftop cargo carrier, part # TH690XT. We're going to begin our test fit with our rack assembled according to the manufacturer's instructions, and the lower half of our clamps separated from the upper. We'll now place our basket directly onto our cross bars, remove the carriage bolt and the wing nut, bring the clamp around the underside of our cross bar, reinsert our carriage bolt and secure it in place using the wing nut. On each clamp, we'll have 2 wing nuts we'll want to tighten down. We'll now move to the remaining 3 clamps and repeat the same tightening process that we've used on this one. With all 4 of our clamps secure, we'll now grab our black plastic covers, clip them over each one. Just like that, we're ready to load up our basket and hit the road. That will complete today's test fit of the Thule Moab, part # TH690XT, on our 2014 Dodge Avenger. more
