Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Audi Q8- Video
Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Thule Helium Platform XT. It's going to be a platform style bike rack on our 2019 Audi Q8. Now this is going to hold the bike in these trays and by our tires. We've got two wheel hoops, one for each tire. It's going to make for zero frame contact on the bike, making this a good option for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes, so we're not relying on frame contact. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Audi Q8- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at the Kuat Piston Pro X 2-Bike Rack on our 2019 Audi Q8 This is gonna be a platform-style bike rack, that holds the bike in these trays and primarily by our wheels. This is gonna hold it with two wheel hoops, one on either tire, getting a pretty good strong hold on the bike. It's gonna mean it has zero frame contact too, making it good for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes. With a 67-pound weight capacity per bike, it's gonna be good for some of those heavier E-bikes too, because it does up that standard 60 pounds by just a little bit compared to some other similar bike racks. We do have the ability to tilt the rack away with bikes loaded, using the pedal towards the first tray, and lowering the whole thing down. more

Now this is a platform-style bike rack which means it holds the bike in these trays and primarily by the wheel hook up front here. That's gonna mean zero-frame contact, making it good for our carbon frame bikes and our alternative frame bikes. It does have a 40 pound weight capacity per bike so maybe not the best for any e-bikes. more

Now this is going to be, like I said a platform style rack that holds the bike primarily by the front tire here. You can see this wheel hook holds it down to place into these cradles, which means zero frame contact. It's gonna make it good for our carbon frame bikes, our alternative frame bikes and with a 60 pound weight capacity per bike, even our e-bikes. more

Hi everyone, Aidan here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination E-Bike Rack here on our 2022 Audi Q8. Now this is going to be a platform style bike rack, holding the bike in these trays and primarily by the frame right here. That does mean we wanna avoid our carbon frame bikes but with the way the clamp rotates and pivots, it will be good for alternative frame. With a 70-pound weight capacity per bike, it's gonna be great for e-bikes too. That's what this rack is really kind of designed around is e-bikes. more
