So, our Turnoverball gooseneck trailer hitch is gonna be an excellent option for you to tow a gooseneck trailer with a 2 5/16-inch coupler. However, we can also easily use this underbed gooseneck hitch for fifth wheel trailers by also coupling this with one of the B&W Companion adapters. So, the B&W Companion, it mounts in the same place as the hitch ball. It simply drops into position and it provides you with an embed fifth wheel hitch for all your fifth wheel towing needs. Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Ford F150 we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Curt Double Lock. This is a flip and store underbed style gooseneck hitch with installation kit. Part number is C60721. Now, here's the portion of the gooseneck that's going to remain below the bed. You've got the whole center section here they call that the head. You're going to have your cross rails, those go over and connect to frame brackets and that keeps everything nice, solid, and locked in place.Now, all of your cross rails, your head, and the side plates are a heavy duty black powder coat steel so those should resist corrosion very well. more

This is what our hitch looks like installed from underneath the truck. What sets this hitch apart from other ones, is it's going to have a dual locking pin, going to help stabilize your gooseneck ball little better, keep it from moving around. The hitch is going to have a nice, black powder coat finish to help resist rust and corrosion. It's going to sit directly on top of your frame of the vehicle. Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Ford F-150- Video

Today in our 2014 Ford F150, we'll be installing the Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with installation kit part number 9465-37. Now there's a pinhole or guide on towards the passenger side of our gooseneck, and our ball slides along that. We can drop our ball in place like that, and to secure it we just push the handle towards the back of the truck. Now the nice feature about this hitch is we can store our ball by pulling out on it once the handle's been released. Once it's flipped upside down we can insert it back into our gooseneck. If we really want to, we can put our magnet cover over it, give it a nice clean look and that'll keep any dirt or debris from going down inside there. When we're ready to tow again we just release our handle, remove our cover, our ball has a nice grip here on it. We just pull up on it, pull the back around, and re-secure your pin underneath. Hook up our safety chain loops. more

Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2005 Ford F-150- Video

Today on our 2005 Ford F150, we're going to be installing the Reese gooseneck fold-down trailer hitch, part number 8339-4437. To start, we've already gone ahead and lowered and remove the spare tire and rear wheels. Wellbeing also removed the exhaust muffler and tail pipe to gain easier access up underneath the truck bed. Now our first step is going to be flattening the head channel just forward of the rear axle. There are two areas where the sheet metal is doubled up and will need to be flattened in order for us to put our frame rails in place. Quick tech tip: If you have an air hammer available, it can be very useful in smashing the sheet metal to allow for the frame rail to sit in its proper location. more
