Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2008 Dodge Caliber- Video
All right, today on this 2008 Dodge Caliber, we're going to install part number 118552 from Tow Ready. This is a T-One vehicle wiring harness with a 4-Pole flat trailer connector. First thing we need to do is go ahead and take off the taillights. We need to open up the back hatch and remove the plastic rivets that hold the taillight in place. Take a small flat blade screwdriver work out the centers or after you get it started you can use a trim panel's tool and if they're sticky like this one is you can use it to rock it back and forth. Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2009 Dodge Caliber- Video
Today on this 2009 Dodge Caliber. We will be installing wiring harness part number 118552. We are here at the rear of the vehicle and the connection points for our wiring harness are going to be located directly behind the tail light assemblies on both the drivers and passengers sides. The first thing we need to do is go ahead and remove those from the vehicle. To do that, you will see here on the in board side of the tail light you have got two push pins. We want to go ahead and release those first. We can do that by just using a flat bladed screwdriver here. Getting inside the corner of the section here and we will just kind of work that back and forth until we get the push pin to release here. And then we will just want to gently rock back and forth to release the out board clips that are inside there. This larger port is the one that we are going to be using for our T connector here. Start by releasing the red clip here at the top. more
