Before we get into that though, let's just take a minute, check it out and you know, explain what it does and why it's a good idea to use something like this. So when it comes to setting up a flat tow, a charge on kit is something that I recommend pretty much every single time regardless of what vehicle it is. And I say that because it's cheap insurance, honestly. What this is gonna do is essentially trickle charge or maintain your battery whenever you're flat towing it down the road. more

Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars Roof Rack Installation - 2023 Jeep Gladiator- Video
Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be looking at and have installed the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero roof rack system on the 2023 Jeep Gladiator. The Rhino-Rack's gonna be a great option for you if you're running out of room in the back of your bed. Since this is a smaller bed, you won't be able to fit your larger items like kayaks, so that's where this rack's really gonna come in handy too. Our roof rack system's gonna fit by clamping on to this gutter here. And then if we take a closer look up here, we're gonna have our 65 inch aero crossbars that can withstand 165 pounds. more

Now these are actually mount in the gutters on the existing roof on your Gladiator, you see, they fit into there. So that's kind of a nice option to have. There was not fixed the mounted points, but it's also not the naked roof where you have to measure out where you gonna put it. more

Demco SBS Towed Vehicle Battery Charge Wire Kit Installation - 2021 Jeep Gladiator- Video
Hey, everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2021 Jeep Gladiator, I'm going to walk you through how to install a charge line kit for Demco's supplemental breaking system. The charge line kit is not a part that is necessary when flat towing a vehicle. However, I always recommend it because your braking system is tied to the battery, if your vehicle is shut off you have no way of charging your battery, but the braking system when it activates the brakes or applies the brakes, it's pulling some power from the battery. With the charge line kit, it's going to run from the battery up to the six pole plug on the front of the vehicle so that when you're running the motor home and it's attached to the vehicle, the alternator on the motor home is going to trickle charge your battery while it's being towed. So as the power is being pulled from the braking system, or pulling the power from the battery to activate the braking system, the motor home is charging the battery that way when you get to wherever you're going, your battery is going to be charged and ready to go. more

Yakima SideBar Side Rails Installation - 2020 Jeep Gladiator- Video
Hi there Jeep owners, today in your 2020 Jeep gladiator, we're gonna be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, Yakima's overhaul with the sidebar attachment. These side rails have T slots in them just like the overhaul, but as a separate part number that you can add to the kit, to help increase its rigidity and flexibility. Yakima's overhaul HD, with the sidebar installed, is gonna give you an additional T slot, that runs down the side, to attach your accessories to. It could also can be used as a tie-down point, and if you have accessories that you wanna clamp on the side, you could do so as well. The arm is adjustable so you can get the appropriate length of how you've got your your spread set. And if we look here, the opening on the side with the smaller adjuster here, is where you'll put in your T slots. more

This re-installation kit is going to help you save a lot of money, moving your existing Stay-IN-Play Duo from your old vehicle over to your new vehicle. The most expensive components are going to be your operating unit, the cylinder that's on the pedal, as well as the controller that's mounted on the inside. All of those components can be reused. You just need ways to hook them back up. more

Evangeline: Hi, it's me, Evangeline, from etrailer.com and today we are looking at our Saris MTR 2-Bike Platform Style Rack here on our 2020 Jeep Gladiator. So this is a great bike rack, especially if you want all the options for your different types of bikes. One of the features is that it can tilt away, so to do so, you just pull this lever here and let it down. It comes to a stop there at that bottom, and you would want to do this if you want to open up your tailgate. So you can see here that we can completely lower our tailgate, which is great if we need to get in there, take things out of the truck bed without having to worry about taking off all our bikes and the bike rack. When you're done with that, you just lift up and it snaps into place.The way our bike is mounted to our bike rack here is by these two wheel mounts. more

Hey guys, Connor here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Blue Ox Patriot Breakaway Switch for our 2020 Jeep Gladiator. So as we can see here, we have our breakaway switch mounted up in the front of the vehicle. Now a breakaway switch in nature is going to provide a connection point between the towed vehicle and the tow tow vehicle. But what this is going to do is, should the tow vehicle ever come disconnected from the towed vehicle, that's going to allow us to still apply the brakes in our towed vehicle via the supplemental braking system. Now this one in particular is going to be specific to the Blue Ox Patriot Braking System. more

Battery charge line although it's not a necessary component for flat towing your vehicle, I always recommend it because any braking system you put in your vehicle is going to draw power from the battery with the charge line.
