Today on our 2013 Toyota Rav4, we're doing a test fit of the Curt Cargo Carrier, part number 18153. This is a 24 x 60 cargo carrier, can hold up to 500 pounds, see there we already have it on I'll show you a few features. First like to do measurements, so from the bumper closer to our terra rack is 16 inches, overall we've added 42 inches on, and for our ground clearance, it's 13 inches. This made out of a sturdy steel, you see that it has the mesh bottom, so you can easy clean. Holds up to 500 pounds, like I say. On this side of the car, we have our exhaust, that's pretty far, it's 24 inches, so just in case, just remember, when you have any heat-sensitive materials that can come in contact, you may want to move them over. Can get in and out of your hatch as you can see. Let's see where we figure out what worked. more

Detail K2 20x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Toyota RAV4- Video
Today on our 2013 Toyota Rav4 we have our K2 folding cargo carrier, part #K2HCC602. This is a 20x60 cargo carrier. All right lets get some measurements here. First one we will take is the overall length we add, it is about 34 1/2 inches to the back. Our closest point into our vehicle is about 13 1/2 inches. Ground clearance spec here at the back is about 10 1/2 inches and this vehicle only has one exhaust, points down to the ground and is pretty far away, it is about 21 inches, so I wouldn't worry about it too much but just keep that in mind that the exhaust is on this side for your heat sensitive materials. This is a good place if you wanted to get into your vehicle, but we do have to worry about our break-over, that happens about 24 1/2 inches, so if you sack 00:01:13 anything above that just be aware that you may not be able to open your hatch. more

Our closest point to the vehicle, right now, is right about 14 inches. Now we do have a singular exhaust. It points to the ground, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. more

It does come straight out from the passenger side here so you shouldn't have to worry about carrying any heat sensitive materials on your cargo carrier. more

Carpod Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2010 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Today on our 2010 Toyota 4Runner, we are test-fitting our Car Pod Walled Folding Cargo Carrier with dimensions of 23 by 47, with a 450-pound limit on there. At first I'm going to show you guys how you fold everything down. As you can see, there is a provided strap here. All you're going to do, I just tucked it in, we're just going to untuck it, push down on this little lever here, and pull the strap out, and set that off to the side because you will need it whenever you have it folded down. These pins here in the corners, they are provided as well. You just pull them up and it releases the caging and you just fold one side down, at least as far as you can right now. You pull out the other two pins, on each side, and they'll fold back down. more

Today on our 2015 Toyota Highlander we are test fitting the Stromber Carlson 23 by 60 cargo carrier. It's designed for two inch hitches and has a weight capacity of 500 pounds. The part number for that is CC-100. The first thing we're going to do is take our measurements here. First one's going to be our ground clearance. We're going to have about ten inches there. Over off the back of the vehicle we're getting about 33 inches there and our closest point is going to be about nine and a half inches. With the Highlander we do have a single passenger exhaust but it does come straight down and heads toward the ground so you shouldn't worry about having any heat sensitive materials on your cargo carrier. The last thing we're going to do is check our hatch clearance here. more

From the ground to the lowest point on the cargo carrier, this is going to be our ground clearance. Got about eighteen and a half inches before it hits the ground on anything. Our overall . and you got seventeen and a half inches there. And from the back of the vehicle to the first point that might hit the cargo carrier, it's going to be about sixteen and a half inches there. Now while we're down here, we can look and see that we do have a pin and clip holding in the cargo carrier. more

Rola 21x55 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2012 Toyota Camry- Video
Today on our 2012 Toyota Camry, we going to be taking a look at the Roller Cargo Carrier . Part Number 59507. This Cargo Carrier has a 21 by 55 dimension, that's in inches; and has a 300 lb weight capacity. So we'll start off by giving a few measurements of how this interacts with our Camry. Our closest distance, if this we're to go in too far, its actually going to make contact right here at the bend in our shank; and that's going to be at about 3 inches and 3 quarters, but from our bumper to the front of our Carrier is going to be about 6 and 3 quarters of an inch. The overall distance that we've added to the length of our Camry, would be about 30 and a 1/2 inches and our ground clearance to the bottom back here would be about 14 inches. The Exhaust Exits on the passenger side (and our Carrier does sit a little bit above that), but just in case you are carrying anything that is heat sensitive or perishable; the distance from the end of the exhaust to our Carrier is about a foot and a 1/2 or 12 and a 1/2 inches, so just keep that in mind. We won't have any interference with our Trunk being open, but just so you can see that; you can get in there with your Cargo Carrier installed and there shouldn't be any interference with anything that you might have stacked up on your Carrier. That will do it for our look at the Roller Cargo Carrier for Class Two Hitches . Part Number 59507 on our 2012 Toyota Camry. Let's see how our Carrier did when we had it out on our Test Course. Here you see it out on our Test Course. First we go through the slalom which will show you the side-to-side action, such as making turns or evasive maneuvers. Next we'll show you the alternating speed bumps, which would show the twisting action like you might see going over uneven pavement or hitting a pot-hole, or maybe running over a curb. Last but not least we go over the solid speed bumps which would show you the up-and-down action such as going through a driveway or parking lot. . more

Female Speaker: Today on our 2010 Toyota 4 Runner we are test fitting the detail K2 folding cargo carrier. Dimensions 20 x 60 with the capacity to hold up to 500 pounds. The part number for that is K2HCC602. Now first we're going to start off with some measurements. Our ground clearance here from the ground to the lowest point here is gonna be about 18 inches there. Our overall is going to be about 38 inches and our closest point between the vehicle and the carrier is going to be about 16 inches there. Lets Go Aero Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2012 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Female: Today on our 2012 Toyota 4Runner, we are going to be test fitting our Let's Go Aero gear case. A 32 by 48 cargo carrier, which is designated for a 2 inch hitch and carries up to 300 pounds. The part number is HCR222. Now if we start off with some measurements, from the ground to our lowest point, which is actually right up under here, we're going to have about 18 inches before it hits the ground. From the rear of the vehicle overall we're going to have about 41 and 1/4 inches. Coming down here, to the closest point, I'm going to have about 11 inches before it will hit the back of your vehicle. While we're down here, you can see that we do have an anti-rattle bolt, sorry pin and clip. That will help keep the cargo carrier connected to your vehicle stable, unlike some other cargo carriers, which will let it kind of shake a little bit with the regular pin and clip. Now this cargo carrier is just a sealed bottom, and you won't be able to have any dirt falling through, but no dirt's going to come up underneath there either. more

Surco Products Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2012 Toyota Camry- Video
Today on our 2012 Toyota Camry, we're going to be taking a look at the circo cargo carrier for 1 1/4" hitches. Part number 52017. The dimensions of our carrier will be 48" by 20". To start off we'll get a few measurements so you can see how this interacts with our Camry. The closest distance from the back of our bumper to the front of our cargo carrier will be about 4 3/4". SportRack Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Toyota RAV4- Video
Today on our 2015 Toyota Rav 4, we're going to be doing a test fit of this four rack Vista cargo carrier, that's going to offer 20 by 60 inch, 20 inches wide by 60 inches long of cargo space here on that top. That way you can securely fasten any of your cargo. As you can see, it's going to be laid out in this nice platform position, but it also does have that nice folding option here. This is going to be part #SR9A51. As you can see here, you're going to have your two inch shank that's going to attach to your two inch receiver, and it's going to be secured using an anti-rattle bolt, which will help reduce a lot of the sway, rattle and wobble that you'll have on the back of your vehicle. As you can see here, the whole vehicle's moving rather than just the rack as a stand-alone item. So let's start of by getting a few measurements. Our closest distance will be first and it's going to be from the front of this bracket here to the backside of the bumper. more

Today on our 2015 Toyota RAV4 we're going to be doing a test fit of the MaxxTow 27 by 47" aluminum cargo carrier. This cargo carrier is going to have that 60" pivoting ramp and it's going to come with your anti-tilt and hitch pin and clip. Note that it does come with a 2" shank for your 2" receivers only. There's the anti-tilt device here. That's going to help reduce a lot of the sway, rattle, and wobble that you would normally have. Let's go ahead and get a few measurements to start it off. more

Let's start off by getting a few measurements. This will be part number HCR222. Our closest distance will be from the bumper to the front of the rack at about 7-1/2". Overall distance that we've added to the vehicle from the rear of the bumper once again to the back of the rack at about 42". more
