And here's what our compressor system looks like installed. Now, one of the great features about this system is having a wireless system, is you have full versatility of where you can put the remote where you want it, you don't have to worry about running stuff inside the car as far as electrical connections, or gauges, anything like that. It's all in a small compact unit, which you can easily fit in your hand, clip on your visor when you're not using it, set it on down in your cup holder, whatever you want to do.Now, the system is great because having a compressor keeps you from having to manually adjust and inflate your airbags with a fitting on the back of the truck. This allows you to quickly and easily maintain and adjust your airbags as necessary. So, if you have a heavier load in the bed of your truck, or a heavier load on your trailer, you don't have to worry about finding a place with a compressor to fill up your bags manually. more

Everything's going to be onboard for us, and through our ECU, our remote is going to control that.As a safe guard, you will not be able to operate your compressor unless the ignition is on, so if you do develop a leak or something like that in one of your lines, your compressor isn't going to constantly run and drain your battery.With the ignition on in our truck, we're able to use our remote now. Today in our 2014 Ford F-150, we'll be installing the Air Lift Load Controller Compressor System for Air Helper Springs, part number AL25854. Having a compressor like this is a lot faster and more convenient way to monitor and maintain the pressures in your airbags. You don't have to get out of your vehicle and use a air chuck and air-up the bags manually using the Schrader valves that we have in the back of the truck, although we do have one mounted on the back of our vehicle in case we have a problem with our system. We can actually check the air pressure there or add more or take it out if we need to. That's a nice feature about it. You can do it both ways. You may notice that our gauge has a nice, white backlit display, so it'll be easy to see in all lighting conditions. more

Firestone Air Command I Light Duty Compressor Review- Video
We're going to review the Firestone Air Command One, part number F2555, and to help us with our demonstration we'll be using our 2005 Ford Excursion. Now Air Command One doesn't come with any air bags with it so our Excursion's already been outfitted with the Firestone Ride Right Air Helper springs, part number F2251. Now our system's already been installed in our Excursion but we can go ahead and show you what you can see, which is only going to be our key fob. This is about as simple as it gets for an air bag system. Obviously it's wireless, the key fob, you get two buttons, 'plus' to add air to the bags and the 'negative sign' to let the air out. With this you don't have any gauges or anything like that so you pretty much put the load in the back of your vehicle, your trailer, or our cargo carrier with a full load on it and then just go by eye or maybe use a tape measure to bring your vehicle back up to ride height by using your buttons. With our example here, you can see we have a cargo carrier loaded up, and on the back of our Excursion it's bringing down the back of it. Of course, that's going to make the front of the vehicle go up in the air and that also affects the steering as well as your headlights at night. So now, we'll just go ahead and we'll just hold a button down until we get it back up to our original ride height. Originally we're about one and a half inches down, now I get up to ride height and we're back to normal. When you're finished using the air bags, push the 'negative' button and let's out all the air until you stop. more

When we have our key on you'll be able to adjust your air pressure by simply pushing up on the button. That's going to run up your pressure. If you want to lower it down to get it fine tuned. Now with the pressure regulators get 00:00:40 into to our line here, it's got to maintain a constant 5 pounds of air pressure in there. more

In this program we'll show you how to install your Firestone Air Right Air Command F3 Air Compressor Kit. Prior to installation compete the instillation of your Ride Right Air Springs and be sure to review all of the instructions that came with your Air Command F3 before beginning. In this video we will be using a no-drill air accessory mounting kit, sold separately, to mount the compressor to the vehicle frame. Before doing any work remove the negative battery cable. First install the push to connect straight fitting into the pre-installed check valve on the air compressor. Tighten to engage at least two thread locks of the orange thread sealant, but don't over tighten the fitting. more

In our case we're using Firestone Ride Rite Air Helper Springs, part number F2582 that has previously been installed on our F-150. So, with our Firestone One Air Compressor System installed, as you can see we've got a nice display here with an easy to use switch. Just toggle up to operate the compressor, holding it down to reach your desired arable setting. If you want let air our, toggle down on the switch and it will release the air. As you can see, our gauge goes 150psi. more

Today on our 2008 GMC Sierra 2500 were going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Firestone Air Command II. This is a heavy duty compressor and air tank offering dual function and a maximum psi rating of 150 lbs. The part number is F2168. Our gauge is going to allow us to keep monitor and check our pressures. As you can see we can bring these right down to our minimum operating range or then also because we have that tank you can see we can fill individually and you can really see how quickly it really engages. Most of the time wed be sitting here for quite a while trying to get up to what were at now about 40 psi but with that 120 psi in that tank it really helps to take care of that. A great thing is for off center load were going to have full adjustability of that. more

Today, on our 2015 Ford F-350 Super Duty, we're going to be showing you how to install the Air Lift Wireless One Compressor System for air helper springs; this is a single-path, offering a handheld remote. The part number is AL25870. Setting up our remote is very easy; we've got a Memory 1, Memory 2, and if we press both of them at the same time, that gives us our Memory 3. Right now, we've got our system set for 60lbs. Holding down Memory 2 until we see that flash, it's going to have that button set for 60. Memory 1 is 5lbs, so that's going to automatically, as you can hear, start to let the air out of the system until it gets to that 5lb area. If we hit Memory 2, it's going to instantly pick it up and go into pump mode, filling it up to a 60lb level. more

We chose to put ours to our auxiliary port, here and you're supposed to run it to your ignition switch of your vehicle. Any way that it's going to get power but not run all the time. Today on our 2013 Ford F250, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install a Firestone dual electric air command. This is a standard duty compressor with dual gauges and dual function. Part number is F2178. Now, here's what our kit is going to look like. The main components are going to be our compressor that we've got here, our dual gauge panel. We're going to have two needles in there, one for each side. Then we just press up or down to get more or less air into the system. We're going to have the inlet filter, where something's going to filter the air as it's going in so we're not drawing in excessive moisture. more

Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs Installation - 2008 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today, in our 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, we're going to do a review and install of the Air Width load controller 2 compressor system for air helper springs, part number AL25592. Here's what our gauge assembly will look like, once it's installed. Good reason for this gauge assembly is to make it easy to use your load lifter 5000 air helper springs, so you don't have to manually air them up. With a simple push button, we can air up our bags. And from the cab of the vehicle easily release the air once we're finished. If we take our key, put it into the auxiliary, or run, position you can see it turns on the lights to our gauge assembly. With power supply to it, we can push the toggle switch up, and air up our compressor and air bag system. Then to release the air, we simply press on the push button release valve and will allow the air back out of the bags, decreasing the pressure in the system. Special note: here you can see we're going below the 5 psi and it causes the pressure gauge to fluctuate as it drives the air back up while I'm releasing the air. Now let's go ahead and show you how to install it. Now to begin our install, we're going to start by mounting our air compressor. more

Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System Review - 2011 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, we'll be installing the Air Lift Wireless One Compressor System for Air Helper Springs, part number AL25870. This is the hand held wireless remote system. It allows you to adjust your air springs from inside or outside your cab with the hand held controller. Now with our wireless remote, whether we're inside the cab or outside the vehicle, we can turn it on and adjust the air pressure as necessary. Pressing the single dot button turns on display on and then we can increase or decrease pressure with the up and down arrow and then it will automatically air up to the desired pressure. Inside our wireless remote is also three memory settings. Once you select that desired setting, it will automatically switch to it. more

Firestone Level Command Compressor Installation - 2003 Dodge Ram- Video
Today on our 2003 Dodge Ram pickup we'll be installing the Firestone Level Command Single-Gauge Compressor System, part number F2097. This is an air spring control kit with a single-gauge control that allows you to flip a switch to air up your airbags or push it down to deflate the airbags from the driver's position in the cab according to the load that you're carrying or possibly towing for a better ride quality and control. Note, we'll be adding the compressor system to the previously installed Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, part number F2299. To begin our install, we're going to mount our compressor. To assist with mounting the compressor we're going to utilize the Firestone No-Drill Mounting Kit, part number F2529. Here we have our bracket. more

Our truck has already had the airbags installed and it was part number AL59516, the Air Lift Air Ride Control Air Helper Springs. With everything fully installed, lets go ahead and try it out. First, were going to turn the key on and then the compressor will kick up the airbag pressure up to 10 pounds. Thatll keep the airbags in the normal shape when youre driving down the road with no load. more

Firestone Level Command Compressor Installation - 2004 Ford F-350- Video
Today on our 2004 Ford-F350 Crew Cab, we'll be installing the Firestone level command single gauge with heavy duty compressor part number F2097. As you can see here, the compressor is turning on and the airbags are filling up. When you push the switch down, it releases the air and lowers the pressure in the airbags. We'll begin by setting up the air compressor before we mount it on the vehicle. We'll need to remove two little red plugs that are capping off the inlet and the outlet port. In the inlet port, we need to put a male hose barb. For the top of the compressor, we need to thread in the check valve, go ahead and tighten it down. Then we need to put the straight air fitting in which is a quick release where you just push it in and the air hose is locked into place. We're going to find a location that we can mount or compressor. more

Today on this 2006 Ford F150, we're going to install part number AL25592. This is the Air Lift Load Controller II Compressor system. Before we show you how it installs we'll show you what it does and how it works. Now the pressure sensor will always maintain a minimum PSI and the airbags help keep their shape so every time we turn on the ignition it'll check for that and it'll inflate the bags as needed. We'll go ahead add more pressure to it. We'll go ahead and press on the rocker switch and you can see how the air bags will kick on and the air gauge goes up. more

We'll be adding this to a previously installed air bag system, part number AL57295, the LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs. We'll go over operation of our new Air Lift Compressor system. To air up the system we're going to go ahead and turn on the ignition. Now, the pressure switch will automatically kick on the compressor to bring it up to the minimum pressure. Pushing the toggle switch in the UP position will trigger the compressor and increase the air pressure in the air bags. more
