Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Redarc Tow Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller here on a 2017 Toyota Sequoia. So one of the biggest standout features here of the Redarc Brake Controller is what it looks like when it's installed on your vehicle. Now, normally with your traditional brake controller you're not only gonna be drilling into your dash, you're gonna be taking up some of that vital leg room, getting in and out. A lot of people like to refer to those controllers as knee knockers. And that's our traditional style brake controller that's rather large and clunky. Now with the Redarc, we're not gonna have any of those same issues because most everything is actually gonna be installed behind the dash. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look at installing the REDARC Tow-Pro Elite proportional breaking controller on a 2019 Toyota Sequoia. Here we have our brake controller installed and you can see we've used the REDARC panel here and it just goes directly into the knockout plate. So it looks really, really nice. And also as you're driving generally if you're resting your hand here on the shifter, you can activate this really easy right exactly where you need it. And the best part I think about the REDARC system is you don't have a clunky brake controller in the way. more

Redarc Tow-Pro Brake Controller Control Knob Mounting Panel Installation - 2019 Toyota Sequoia- Video

Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the custom Redarc mounting panel for your brake controller on a 2019 Toyota Sequoia. In many times when mounting up the Redarc, you're gonna be using this little plate and it's gonna need a hole drilled in the dash for this to slide in and you can kind of put it wherever you want which is fine. But the problem is you are drilling into your dash and if you have options to make the installation easier and a little bit cleaner, this is gonna be the option for it because this fits into your Toyota knockout plate. You can simply take out the old one here and then this pops in place just as it would as an OEM. So it's in a really nice spot here. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2008 Toyota Sequoia- Video

Today we are going to be installing brake control part number 90185, the Prodigy, along with the Prodigy wiring harness, part number 3040-P, on a 2008 Toyota Sequoia. We are inside the vehicle now, and the first thing that we are going to do is to locate the aftermarket port that we are going to plug the 3040-P into. The first thing we want to do is go ahead and remove this. There is actually a thumbscrew right here that needs to be removed and then there are a couple of pop rivets here that you just need to pry away from, then pull that out into position. You might need to actually remove a little bit of the bottom plate here, as well, to allow the plate to be removed. And you can see there are a bunch of electrical connections here. The port is kind of hidden that we are going to be connecting to. It is actually taped to this blue harness here, almost by the fuses. You can see I have already cut the tape here and I can pull the connector out, right there. more
