Inno Roof Box Review - 2018 Chrysler Pacifica

Today on our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica we're gonna be doing a test-fit on the INNO Wedge Rooftop Cargo Box, which is part number INBRM 624BK.This roof rack mounts to the roof rack of your vehicle. It's gonna allow you to haul any type of cargo, luggage, sports and recreational gear, anything like that above the roof of your vehicle. One of the cool features is that it has a dual sided opening lid, meaning we can access the box from either side of the vehicle. So, for times when you might be parked in your garage, or maybe a tight parking spot and you can't get access from your passenger side, come over to the driver's side. We'll take our included set of keys, insert them, unlock it, and push down on this black button. We can open it up, and get whatever we might need.Go ahead and close it, and we'll go to the other side. What's cool is that you can't lock it and remove the key unless it's properly closed. more

Yakima RocketBox Pro 11 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2018 Chrysler Pacifica

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Rocket Box Pro 11 Rooftop Cargo Box, part number Y07193.The Yakima Rocket Box is great for carrying both skis and snowboards, as well as luggage or sporting goods equipment, and it's slim enough that you can actually fit other accessories on the other side of it, as you see here, even with a factory style roof rack. This can open from either side, so you can actually adjust it to the passenger or driver side as needed. It comes with two sets of keys to open it up and once you have it in the unlocked position, the key cannot be removed. You simply push the red button and it pops open.Looking inside the box, you can see we have about 11 cubic feet of space to work with. I would like to point out that the clamps that attach it to your roof rack are adjustable back and forth as you need to adjust this back and forth, say to get clearance with your rear hatch.Clearance is not going to be an issue for this particular vehicle. As you can see there's plenty of space between our box and the hatch. And as far as the carrying capacity is concerned, it's going to be 11 cubic feet of storage, but I would go by the weight recommendations of both your vehicle and the roof rack you're using before you install anything in there. Now that we've gone over some of the features of the Rocket Box, let's go ahead and show you how it installs. more
