Today on this 2009 Honda Civic we are going to install part number 11437 from Curt. This is how the hitch looks installed on the vehicle. We will give you a couple of measurements to help you out and choosing some accessories for this vehicle. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground on this particular vehicle is going to be 11 inches and from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer edge of the bumper is going to be about 3-1/ 2 inches. Next we will show you how it was done. The first thing we need to do is lower the exhaust. There will be just one rubber hanger right behind the exhaust tip and we just need to undo that one and lower it out of the way.
