Konig Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2017 Nissan Murano- Video
What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Konig self-tensioning snow tire chains on our 2017 Nissan Murano.We are going to get a diamond pattern with our chains, and they are going to be made of a manganese nickel alloy steel. We have these little steel plates here, and that's going to help kind of break up some of that ice and such like that.Everything that is here is mostly made of metal, besides the little section that's closest to your rims. It's going to be plastic, so it's not really going to scuff your rims if you're in heavier snow and that snow's pushing in on your sidewall. These are going to be a lot more forgiving on your wheels compared to maybe the aggressive ladder pattern style chains, so just be mindful of that.What I really like about it is that the tensioner is built in. You don't have to buy a separate tensioner and keep track of it. more
